Wireless Pokemon

I will soon be getting a Nintendo DS and Pokemon Diamond(YAY!,lol). And i am confused about the whole wireless thing. Ive saw that you need a Nintendo Wii for it to function, or just a Wireless Router. Well, i dont have a Nintendo Wii, but i have a Wireless Router! So, will i be able to do all the wireless stuff(batteling online, trading, and so on) wiht my wireless router or do i require more things, thank you guys

Nope, you need a Wii, otherwise your game will explode.

You can use a router, you don't need a Wii.

I have no idea as to where to get a router.I've also seen that you can get free wi-fi in public places, but I don't Know which ones except for the Mcwane center, and the closest one to my position is in a different state.

Yeah, all you need is a Wireless Router and your DS can link up to it. And Bahamut, you can always order the Nintendo USB port.
