The Dragon Tamer's Battle Range

Welcom to the Dragon Tamer's Battle Range. If you haven't guessed already, the purpose of this Battle Range is to allow you to train your pokemon that you recieved at the Adoption agency. A few rules apply to here as well. You may only battle two times per scenario. Scenario's are posted every 5 days. You will earn Dragon Tamer Stamps (§) for telling good, dexcriptive battles. You will gain two levels per battle, unless told otherwise by me. What you can do with the Dragon Tamer Stamps, is purchase items and the Dragon Tamer Gift Shop. Items for your pokemon will be sold there, such as elemental stones, happy genes(for evolving pokemon that evolve by happiness), and yes, rare candies. But trust me, Rare Candies won't come cheap at 30 Stamps each. I will also be selling tm's. Some will be from the game, and some will be the ones i invent, such as an ember tm.

This is the First Scenario

I woke up, realizing it was morning. I picked up my Pokeballs, and got dressed. I attached my Pokeballs to my pantleg, and left my house. It was a beautiful day in the town of Celador, and I knew it would be perfect to train. I walked downtown, and I saw a man in dark clothing. Curious, I decided to investigate. He was looking in the Dragon Tamers Adoption Agency, the place where I worked. I knew at once that he was a Team Rocket Member. "Hey! Get away from that Adoption Agency, you poucher! That's my Agency, and if you wanna steal from it, you're gonna have to get through me!" The Rocket looked taken aback at my words, and he reluctantly said "Fine! I will show no mercy!" and then he threw a Pokeball, and out came and Abra. I threw my Pokeball, and out came my Dratini (I know most of you think of this as being unfair, but you all can obtain a Dratini at the Dragon Tamer Department Store).

Dratini lv5 vs Abra lv7

Abra started out with a Psychic attack. It didn't hurt Dratini too bad, and I told Dratini to use Ice Beam. The Ice Beam hit Abra right in the middle of the chest, and covered it. The attack froze Abra's left arm, but I doubted that would affect it's psychic power. Abra used Psychic again, sending Dratini Hurtling into a couple of garbage cans. Dratini was outraged when he got up (excuse the pun), and he used Ice Beam yet again, this time, with much more force than was intended, sending Abra flying over the Rocket member and into a parked car . Abra vanished, and reappeared in front of the Rocket. Abra used Ice Punch, and that really hurt Dratini, because ice is his major weakness. Abra then drifted hight into the air, and came charging toward Dratini. Dratini used Ice Beam and it struck Abra. There was a bright blue light, and Abra came crashing to the ground. The Rocket was shocked at Dratini's amazing power, and recalled Abra. He then stared at me in disbelief, and escaped down the subway.

Dratini grew to lv7!

I still wondered why the Rocket Member was snooping around the adoption center. It didn't matter, but I will keep an eye on the Dragon Tamers more often. Who knows what he would've stolen. Money, Pokemon, or even both. I healed my Dratini with a Potion. I was still proud of him for doing so well in the last battle. I kept walking, hoping I would run into another Pokemon to battle. Then I saw him... it looked like the Rocket was back for a rematch. He sent his Abra forth. "Don't you ever give up!?" I asked him. He didn't answer, so I called for my Dratini again.

Dratini lv7 VS Abra lv7

Abra tried an Ice Punch as soon as Dratini appeared. Luckily, Dratini saw it coming, and dodged the attack. Dratini have Abra a hard smack with his tail, sending him rolling into the Adoption Center wall with a loud smack. People around us starting to watch. Abra got up, and starting swerving. Obviously, Abra was still a little weak from that last attack. Dratini gave Abra an Ice Beam, sending Abra against the wall again. The Rocket went out into the street, and Abra followed. I chased after them, and so did Dratini. Now, a lot of people gathered around us, making both the Rocket and me, enclosed within a circle. Abra used another Ice Punch, and his Dratini, causing tremendous pain. Dratini used Ice Beam, and sent Abra crashing into the Rocket. Abra got up, and levitated in the air. He charged forth, and used Ice Punch again. Dratini was getting worn out, and I thought he might not make it through the match. Dratini used another Ice Beam, and Abra fell to the ground in a heap. The Rocket had been defeated... again. I went to Dratini and hugged him. He gave an affectionate lick, and slithered up my arm, and around my neck. The Rocket was engraged, and stomped off in anger. "You'll pay for this!" the Rocket called, but I just started laughing [img]tongue.gif[/img] . All the people around me cheered, and I looked back at them, not knowing what to say. I gave Dratini another Potion, and we were both ready to move onward.

Dratini grew to level 9! Dratini learned Thunder Wave!

Since none of the rest of you are using this place to train, i'm gonna make the next scenario and train for myself...

I chased after the rocket member, not knowing what I was getting myself into. Then suddenly, the Rocket ran into an ally. He was cornered, but then, another rocket member jumped from the building. He threw a pokeball, and out came a Zubat. I could tell this was going to be an easy battle, because the Zubat looked relativly weak.

Dratini started the battle off with and Ice Beam. Apparently, Dratini knew what he was doing, because the Zubat slammed against the back wall. Zubat used Giga Drain, and restored some of its health. Dratini used Ice Beam again, and was showing no mercy. Zubat it that wall again, and then Zubat kept wanting to fall to the ground, I knew this battle was finished, and so did the Rocket. Dratini used another Ice Beam, and won.

Dratini grew to level 11! Dratini's lv10 move is Surf!

Remember RQ, you don't have a Larvitar... What you do is you write a story, describing the battle, like i have done above. For instance... you could go against zubat. describe the battle, like how it started it what happens to the pokemon in the battle. If you win, you gain 2 exp levels. You may battle 2 pokemon per scenario, and if you write a detailed, good story, you are awarded stamps.

I healed my Dratini at the Pokemon center, and then set out again. I still wondered why the Rockets were showing up in Celador. I couldn't stop and think about it, because another one was coming, with the other beaten ones behind him. He took a Pokeball from his waist, and threw it toward me. From the pokeball, came a very strong looking Quilava.

Quilava looked tough, but luckily, my Dratini knew surf. Quilava started the battle out with a Thrash. It was a critical hit that sent Dratini flying. The Rocket laughed at Dratini. I glared at him in fury. NO ONE LAUGHES AT MY POKEMON AND GETS AWAY WITH IT!!!!!!! Dratini Surf! I shouted. Dratini nodded, and used surf. The huge wave slapped agains Quilava with full force, sending him rolling to the Rocket's feet. "Get up!" the Rocket yelled, and kicked the Quilava. That made me even angrier. I didn't like to see Pokemon torchered by their masters for doing a bad job. Dratini used surf again before Quilava could get up. With Quilave weakening, I knew this battle was ours. Quilave used thrash again, and it didn't do as much damage as I expected. Dratini finished the battle with surf. The rocket was about to call Quilava back, but I threw my ultra ball, and caught Quilava, the rocket ran after me, and Dratini used Ice Beam and slowed the Rocket to a stop. I revived Quilava at the POkemon Center, then went to the other side of town. I gave quilava up to a girl who asked me what I was doing, she looked like a much better trainer, and it made me feel good, because I knew that QUilava was in good hands.

Dratini grew to level 14!

Once you get into the 10-15 scenario, I will let you gain three levels on the first scenario.

No Larvatar? But . . . I thought . . .

I just told you in the Adoption Center that I never put one up for adoption. By the way... check ur pms.

I did . . . but that was only my second favorite . . . any chance I could capture one wild? I know I may have to wait a while, but I really want one!

I felt the strong beams of light glaring right in my eye. Not knowing what time it was I woke up and looked at my clock. 10:00 time to train cyndaquil!! Cyndaquil woke up and shook itself off. We went out to train. We went into Koko forest and saw a boy. We asked him who he was. "My name is Rob and I am looking for somebody to battle my Houndoor." I told him who I was and that I wanted to fight him. We soon got the battle on.

I called on my Cyndaquil. He called on his Houndoor. I got the first move. Cyndaquil scratch attack! Cyndaquil scartched Houndoor but it didn't do much. I told Cyndaquil not to worry about it. "Houndoor tackle attack" Rob said. Houndoor gained speed and charged at Cyndaquil. Cyndaquil tried to dodge it but was too late. Cyndaquil immediatly got up and didn't give up.
Cyndaquil scratch attack I yelled. Determined Cyndaquil charged full speed at houndoor and scratched ihm right across the face. That was too much for Houndoor. He got back up and fell back down. Hooray you did it cyndaquil I yelled. Cyndaquil looking happy cheered. She won!!

Hows that?

Moving on through the forest, My Cyndaquil and I followed on. We were walking happily when we heard a rustle in the bushes. Who...who's there? I asked very frightened. Out came Rob. You beat me last time but this time it will be different cause my Houndoor knows a new attack. would you like to duel again? I told him that I never back down from a challenge. Ok then let's start he said.

I called out my cyndaquil again. Again he called his Houndoor. I got the battle started. Cyndaquil scratch attack! Cyndaquil went right up to Houndoor and scratched him. Not as powerful as last time I said. haha he laughed. What's so funny?? I asked. Just wait and see. "Houndoor ember attack." he said. What's so great about that? Don't you know fire is weak against fire? I'm a beginner he said. I didn't know that. After a few more scratches the battle was over. We had won.

Cyndaquil grew to level 9.

KK walked down a path in the forest. *sigh* It was an all too familiar scene, provided you've seen the anime. Then, from somewhere beside KK was a rustling of leaves. KK turned to see. From the shadows stepped another trainer.

KK: Hey, you gave me quite a scare.

The other trainer grinned.

"I challenge you to a Pokemon battle!"

KK: That ain't a nice way to greet someone, but if you say so! Go, MACHOP!

KK opened his Pokeball and white energy popped out, forming into Machop.

"I've got the perfect way to stop the the fighting type. Go, Abra!"

The other trainer's Pokeball landed on the field and popped open, exposing the small, orange Pokemon, ready to fight and not sleeping...

KK: Abra? But that Pokemon can only teleport!

"Not if I've used TMs! Abra, let's start off with a Double Team!"

Abra's image suddenly split up. Abra totally surrounded Machop! KK clenched his teeth; Machop wouldn't be able to hit Abra easily right now.

KK: Machop, it'll be hard to hit Abra, so right now we'll use Leer and lower it's defense!

Machop growled and its eyes glowed red. Abra continued to surround Machop.

"All right, now hit it with Psychic!"

All the Abras began to send out blasts of energy, totally knocking Machop senseless. It staggered back and forth.

KK: Machop, hang on! Use Low Kick!

Machop kicked at the nearest Abra, but in a flash it was gone. Machop jumped in the air and kicked at another one, but it also disappeared. Then Machop turned and kicked a third one and suddenly all of them disappeared as the real one was knocked away. Unfortunately it wasn't hurt too bad from the attack. Machop would change that. Machop jumped into the air and drop kicked onto Abra into it's chest, and made sure Abra stayed in the dirt.

Crud, I just found out that the scenario is different. Oh well.
