Or was Ash actually acting fairly smart in today's episode?You know,the Extreme Pokemon Race?Picked the right Pokemon,thought on his feet...now bring back Butch and Cassidy and have Ash actually start catching Pokemon,and I might start regularly watching the show again.

Basically there was a race in the town Ash and company went to where you have a pokemon pulling you while you ride on a skateboard. Gary was in it using his Arcanine so Ash had to enter to beat him(he chooses to use Bayleaf FYI). Long story short, Team Rocket comes trying to steal Arcanine, they fail and are blasted away and Ash wins the race(suprise suprise). I think Arcanine should have won, Ash only trained about one day with Bayleaf.

Bayleef's not even fast, but it's probably his fastest PKMN he has besides Noctowl. Stupid Ash. Gary sucks too, I wish TR would've gotten Arcanine.

Not very supprising that Team Rocket failed to capture Arcanine. Their Pokemon are weak and pathetic, and they have no knowledge of Pokemon whatsoever. Team Rocket once stole all of the Crystal Bells in hopes of catching Ho-oh. HO-OH! Those guys have a better chance of defeating Ho-oh with their pinkies than with their sad excuses for Pokemon! They plan to capture Ho-oh with what? An overly huge snake, a talking cat, three levitating orbs, an overgrown venus flytrap, and what looks like a blue hot dog standing on one end.

Maybe Jesse could stun Ho-oh with her terrible ugliness.

TR's Poke'mon can be quite powerful if they got some decent trainers: Weezing with MT moves & Arbok with Earthquake would make mincemeat out of Ash's team.

TR's PKMN are pretty good. Remember the battle for Lugia? They almost beat Butch and Cassidy until something happened and exploded. They're sucky in most episodes only because Ash's PKMN are cheap and unrealisticly strong though he never trains.
