| 72 and still going strong Join Date: Jul 2006 Location: Arizona Gender: Posts: 11,434 Thanks: 926 Thanked 393 Times in 270 Posts | Pokemon of the Week #55: Garchomp Garchomp Type: Ground/Dragon Weaknesses: Ice (x4), Dragon Resisitances: Electric (immune), Fire, Rock, Poison Ability: Sand Veil Best Stat: Attack Shiny Garchomp looks like this: ML's suggested moveset: You look at Garchomp's typing and it just screams "Physical. Sweeper." So, two sets tonight: One for Choice Banders, and one for not-so-choice banders. Nature: Adamant EV's: 252 / 252 Attack and Speed Item: Choice Band Moves: Earthquake Dragon Claw / Dragon Rush Stone Edge Fire Fang With the attack and speed of a Legendary, Garchomp can lay the beatdown on practically anything. EQ and the Dragon move are there for STAB (Choose the Dragon move on your own preference. Both are fine), Stone Edge is there for Ice types and for general sweeping purposes, and Fire Fang is there for Skarmory and other steel types. This is self-explanatory. Nature: Adamant EV's: 252 / 252 Attack and Speed Item: Shell Bell or Life Orb Moves: Swords Dance Earthquake Dragon Claw / Rush Stone Edge / Fire Fang I had to sacrifice a move for Swords Dance, but...I just couldn't do it. So I leave that up to you. Stone Edge is more powerful, but Fire Fang tends to be more practical. Anyway, self-explanatory again. Well, that's it. I know, right? Easiest movesets I ever did. Overall, Garchomp is a crazy-powerful Pokemon, with high and well-rounded stats, very well cut out for the Physical Sweepage. You could even add some defensive moves and kind of make it a kind of Counter-attack Pokemon, but that's unlikely and I'm not gonna get into that. Remember people, unless I'm gone, feel free to ask me for movesets on anything you like. My services are free. That is, unless you're paying. When you consider that Palkia and Diagla are banned from Wi-Fi, it's a waste giving it to them. It's not quite my favourite pokemon, but it certainly is the best Dragon-type of Generation IV...excluding Palkia. |

| The Last Timelord. | ^ He'll probably answer with "Ditto". Anyway, yeah I like this one alot. Then again, I love anything to do with Dragons. The Shiny Version of this one sucks abit, it should have been brighter colours, or at least something different rather than a Darker Blue. |

However, the strategy with him is to transform, preferably, into a Ghost or Dragon so you can pull off some super-effective hits. |
