Official team rating topic. Post your teams and get 'em rated.

This is something that's been needed for a while. Here's how it works:

1) Post your Pokemon
2) Its Nature
3) Item it is holding
4) EV's if possible
5) Attacks

Repeat.

I'll post my team later when I get the chance.

Garchomp
Nature: Naive
Item: None
EV's: Unknown
Attacks: Crunch, Earthquake, Dragon Rush, Dragon Claw

Metagross
Nature: Calm
Item: None
EV's: Unknown
Attacks: Earthquake, Zen Headbutt, Psychic, Meteor Mash

Heatran
Nature: Lax
Item: Charcoal
EV's: Unknown
Attacks: Flash Cannon, Sunny Day, Flamethrower, Solarbeam

Tyranitar
Nature: Naughty

Latias
Nature: Modest

Attacks: Dragon Pulse, Psychic, Thunderbolt, Ice Beam

The only things on here that I'd probably change are the moves for some of them, the items (haven't got around to all of them yet), and trying to find a Metagross with a better nature (Brave or Sassy preferably). Other than that, that's pretty much how it looks.

^ Only on matches that aren't level 100.

For instance, I was informing this kid (who uses AR) it would be far better if neither used legendaries, but he wouldn't budge. "It's only fun if I use hacked pokemon"

Yeah, how fun was it when I took down his level 100 Arceus with a Level 1 Rattata, huh?

Well, not very judging by how he turned off his DS before Quick Attack hit, and said "YOU DIDN'T REALLY WIN".

:P

I'll start with the first one that was posted here, will do others later...

While salamence is versatile in being either a physical sweeper, special sweeper or mixed sweeper, one nature it really does not need is a speed decreasing nature or else it'll easily get OHKO by the likes of weavile or garchomp. For a physical sweeper, go with adamant and either breed for dragon dance or use the choice band to immediate increase its attack power. The special version can learn draco meteor but would prefer using it with the choice spec item

Garchomp
Nature: Naive
Item: None
EV's: Unknown
Attacks: Crunch, Earthquake, Dragon Rush, Dragon Claw
rating: 2.5/5
having a speed enhanced nature helps with garchomp so to outspeed the likes of certain other foes, but I would go with jolly. It can also learn swords dance to increase its attack power, and sand veil makes it useful for a sandstorm team.

Metagross
Nature: Calm
Item: None
EV's: Unknown
Attacks: Earthquake, Zen Headbutt, Psychic, Meteor Mash
rating: 2/5
Good idea to go with STAB moves but overall I would go with an adamant nature to increase its attack stat to the max which is far better than its special attack ability. It can also learn agility to boost its speed and can learn the mighty powerful explosion when desperate.

Heatran
Nature: Lax
Item: Charcoal
EV's: Unknown
Attacks: Flash Cannon, Sunny Day, Flamethrower, Solarbeam
rating: 2.5/5
desired nature should be modest or if you want to teach it explosion go with mild or rash. Again good idea to go with STAB but nature needs to improve on its special attacking stat.

Tyranitar
Nature: Naughty
Item: None
EV's: Unknown
Attacks: Earthquake, Crunch, Stone Edge, Dragon Claw
rating: 3/5
attack nature and physical moves are great though I would prefer adamant and it can also learn dragon dance as an egg move if you breed with a male charmander at least.

Latias
Nature: Modest
Item: Soul Dew
EV's: 255 Sp. Att. Rest is unknown.
Attacks: Dragon Pulse, Psychic, Thunderbolt, Ice Beam
rating: 4/5
I know it's hard to soft-reset for a decent lati@s though I'd give it a higher rating if I knew what its IVs were. Modest is the desired nature of course.
I'll rate some of the others when I have more time. I usually refer to Smogon's D/P analysis forum section at smogon.com for further in-depth ideas.

Edit: was going to rate the next post but don't want to be posting more than one rate per reply nor double-post. If these were posted on smogon they'd be ripped apart, though my method is to try to point out why it may not work.

^ My goodness you have a way to go in moves sets, what do I see

For Starters, Three fire moves on Charlie boy, and three grass moves on Shayz...yikes.

For seconds, Shayz isn't even that good a grass type.

Next, Pokerus helps stats. It would be better to tell us what Ev trainning they had.

and lastly, shouting (using captial letters), and saying NO HAxx0rs, automatically makes me think hacked.

Charizard can learn it in lg by going to that person and Manaphy was hatched out of a bad egg and screwed my game bad till i got it fixed and he was able to learn any move by going to move changer guy some kind of in game glitch that i took advantage of.... Shaymin is pretty good tho dont know ur problem... No idea how to figure out EV's so if sm1 could tell me it would be appreciated...I dont hack because i $uCK at it... when ever i try using gs or ar i end up erasing my save file and i get pissed off so i sold them both for 50$

^Um... WRONG!

I have to agree with Nomyt on this one, there's no way I'll believe that you didn't hack your game. And learn to type. That paragraph was painful to read.

^ Um, no offense, but...

Shut the hell up.

Really, I don't mean to be rude, but I think you're asking for it. You come in here saying "omg my teem beets urs" and then flame people, thus making me resort to your level! My gosh, that's an awful thing to do!

Please try to learn proper grammar, whether it's a computer or not, it is greatly appreciated. Was it even relevant to say "why final fantasy?"

Your lack of both intelligence and grammar deeply offends me. Look at this page and tell me what you see? Yes, that's right, it says Draco Meteor was a new move in Diamond and Pearl. And if you even say something like "OMG!!! that paGE is SOOOooooOOO rong", than you'll just have to find some other proof to your point, because right now, everything you say means absolutely nothing.

And if you came here to mock other people's names an interests, you can go bite yourself. I mean, what does killerxx66 stand for, "I killer of english language"? It may be a computer, but that doesn't mean I want to read stuff that l0oksleikths.

I'm right, you're wrong. Stop being an ass.
