A ??? type Arceus? - VGF

We all know about Arceus and how his type changes with the plates. He is currently only available in the form of a hack but we have collected all of the plates from the game through normal gameplay. I found out that there is another type of Arceus with the ??? type. As if Arceus couldn't get any stranger, Serebii had discovered the ??? type Arceus. It is in the game's code and is a few shades darker than the insect Arceus.

Probably has something to do with the Curse attack.

^Yeah that's the only attack I could think of that could be upped with the power of the plate. I'm not exactly sure how you could upgrade the curse attack though....

They have the sprite for it on Psypoke too.

I heard about this. Unless I'm behind on my info, they didn't actually find ??? type Arceus, what they found was an unused sprite. In other words, it's something they were planning, but in the end it got cut from the game for one reason or another.

I'm sure in the coding that the sprite was named after the ??? type. If you look at it's colors you can see it matches the ??? type picture. There's no other possible explanation for the unused Arceus other than that it is for the ??? type as the colors match and there's no other category it could fit into

Maybe it's something they plan on doing later and simply haven't got to now. After all, the data for Deoxys' forms and for Rayquaza was in Ruby and Sapphire even though normally you simply can't get either one in those cartridges (just to give an example off the top of my head).

^No....you could easily have gotten Rayquaza normally by just going to the tower after you beat the Elite Four. Just surf there from Pacifidlog.

Well yes, I wasn't saying that it isn't a sprite of ??? type Arceus. I was just clarifying that it isn't an actual pokemon that you access, even with a cheating device. It's just a picture, but there isn't a pokemon attatched to it, if you get what I'm saying.

Curse Nintendo with their freaky beta things. First the fact that PMTTYD has goombario and all of them but just unused sprites, the fact that ZELDA WINDWAKER has a bird thingie familiar thing in the beta as well as tingle's art studio, and now we find an unused arceus that is super secret.

You think that's weird, try the various builds of Sonic 2, 3, and Knuckles! Heck, Chaotix and even Sonic 3D Blast. They're out there for you to see, too.
