| I VOTED Join Date: Jul 2006 Location: On a deserted island Gender: Posts: 10,929 Thanks: 804 Thanked 353 Times in 241 Posts | MERRY CHRISTMAS! Pokemon of the Day #65: Venusaur Venusaur Type: Grass/Poison Weaknesses: Fire, Flying, Psychic, Ice Resistances: Water, Electric, Grass (x.25), Fighting Ability: Overgrow – When Venusaur's HP is below 1/3, Grass attacks are boosted by x1.5 Best Stat: Sp. Atk and Sp. Def. Shiny Venusaur looks like this: March's Movesets Well, Venusaur, unfortunately, is a slower Pokemon, so it isn't as good with Special Sweeping, however, it can make a good tank, and can get by with Special Sweeping. You'll see what I mean. I'mma give you guys 3 movesets this week, one Special Sweeper, one Tank, and one Physical Sweeper Special Sweeper Set Nature: Timid or Modest EVs 4 HP, 252 Sp. Atk, 252 Spd. Item: Choice Specs/Wise Glasses Moves: Petal Dance (best if used with Choice Specs)/Energy Ball/Solarbeam (If you use Sunny Day) Sludge Bomb Hidden Power Fire Sunny Day/Leech Seed Bah, that was harder than I thought it would be, haha, should've done two separate sets, ah well. If you use a Choice Set, good luck finding 4 good moves. Tank Set Nature: Bold EVs 4 Sp. Atk., 252 Def., 252 HP Item: Leftovers Moves: Leech Seed Substitute Toxic Energy Ball This will be a huge pain to deal with, heheh, I'm not sure how good this set is, but it's the best I could come up with. Physical Sweeper Set Nature: Adamant or Jolly EVs 4 HP, 252 Atk., 252 Spd., Item: Choice Band/Choice Scarf/Leftovers Moves: Swords Dance Seed Bomb Earthquake Return Well, Venusaur has an extremely limited movepool, so you guys need to give me a little bit of slack here. ![]() Pokemon of the Week #1: Tentacruel --- Pokemon of the Week #2: Duskull Pokemon of the Week #3: Salamence --- Pokemon of the Week #4: Lunatone Pokemon of the Week #5: Castform --- Pokemon of the Week #6: Entei Pokemon of the Week #7: Charmander --- Pokemon of the Week #8: Medicham Pokemon of the Week #9: Jolteon --- Pokemon of the Week #10: Latios Pokemon of the Week #11: Wooper --- Pokemon of the Week #12: Lugia Pokemon of the Week #13: Hariyama --- Pokemon of the Week #14: Elekid Pokemon of the Week #15: Poliwag --- Pokemon of the Week #16: Marowak Pokemon of the Week #17: Kecleon --- Pokemon of the Week #18: Feraligatr Pokemon of the Week #19: Numel --- Pokemon of the Week #20: Sneasel Pokemon of the Week #21: Mareep --- Pokemon of the Week #22: Deoxys Pokemon of the Week #23: Meditite --- Pokemon of the Week #24: Scyther Pokemon of the Week #25: Plusle --- Pokemon of the Week #26: Milotic Pokemon of the Week #27: Delibird --- Pokemon of the Week #28: Cradily Pokemon of the Week #29: Raichu --- Pokemon of the Week #30: Shiftry Pokemon of the Week #31: Absol --- Pokemon of the Week #32: Totodile Pokemon of the Week #33: Mudkip --- Pokemon of the Week #34: Claydol Pokemon of the Week #35: Flygon --- Pokemon of the Week #36: Zigzagoon Pokemon of the Week #37: Blaziken --- Pokemon of the Week #38: Charizard Pokemon of the Week #39: Golem 1st --- Pokemon of the Week #40: Electivire Pokemon of the Week #41: Steelix --- Pokemon of the Week #42: Empoleon Pokemon of the Week #43: Mew --- Pokemon of the Week #44: Rhyperior Pokemon of the Week #45: Parasect --- Pokemon of the Week #46: Hippowdon Pokemon of the Week #47: Toxicroak --- Pokemon of the Week #48: Abomasnow Pokemon of the Week #49: Hitmontop --- Pokemon of the Week #50: Drifblim Pokemon of the Week #51: Torterra --- Pokemon of the Week #52: Armaldo Pokemon of the Week #53: Lucario --- Pokemon of the Week #54: Golem 2nd Pokemon of the Week #55: Garchomp --- Pokemon of the Week #56: Gallade Pokemon of the Week #57: Jumpluff --- Pokemon of the Week #58: Whiscash Pokemon of the Week #59: Ursaring --- Pokemon of the Week #60: Typhlosion Pokemon of the Week #61: Magikarp --- Pokemon of the Week #62: Luvdisc Pokemon of the Week #63: Scizor --- Pokemon of the Week #64: Dragonite |

| Timelord. | I usually give him Toxic Leech Seed Some grass move Some move non grass type. He'll then get me quite far. Anyway like his design, Bulba was the first one that I ever used in the game (nicknamed "Buddy" (later on when gender came into it females are called "Bud" and males "Buddy".)) Venus was the first third stage evo on my team. Used them ever since. 10/10 |

| Forum Host | Venasaur always seemed like a slow but powerful Pokemon. It would usually have Solarbeam, Leechseed, and a Tackle Type Move. Also, it was a nice end to the Bulb Evolutions |
