Since this forum has no faq topic, I decided to make one.

Q: How does one organize a tournament, how do they work, and is there a website with information like this?

I don't know if you need permission or anything but when I made one I asked March anyway.

About how they work is pretty much up to you I guess, I made mine however I wanted to...

And I don't know about websites with any tournament related info but Serebii Net supposedly has some good info there.

IRHP: Serebii is a Net, not a com. I made that mistake once or twice.

Well... I was thinking more about the basics, such as what Freind codes are, and how wifi works (They take place on WiFi right?)

I don't really care if you make a tournament or not, totally your call. However, I don't get too many entrants in my own tourneys, so don't expect too much feedback.

I can't really answer how they work, that's your call.

I'm just curious about how they work. I don't expect to make one, I'd lose before I could say Mega Kick.

Here's a question that's been bugging me: Why did they re-number everything in Ruby/Sapphire?

I'm guessing that since they weren't going to make it so you can get all 386 Pokemon in the game, the just have you the 200 Pokemon that are available in R/S.

Then FR/LG came out....

I think they changed the numbering in R/S/E because newbies to the series wouldn't understand it probably.

Just gonna throw this out here: The new games need to spice up the formula. I think D/P is the weakest batch so far. The only notable thing they did, which is controversial IMO, is dividing the special and attacks apart from types, making it so Grass is no longer just special but a Grass attack can be physical...the core of the game was never made that way and I think it was done sloppily. I also think the PKMN Abilities should not be so recycled. Like every Legendary has "Pressure".

What do you guys think?

I have to agree.

Pressure is the most used ability ever.

Also, I forgot what it does.

Makes you use more PP on moves so eventually you'll start having to use struggle.

Celebi has Natural Cure, Phione and Manaphy have Hydration, Shaymin has Natural Cure, Heatran has Flash Fire.

Need I go on? Not every legendary has Pressure.
