Gender: Posts: 2,899 Thanks: 555 Thanked 93 Times in 67 Posts | I would like to know what my First Edition Holographic Charizard from 1995 is worth. Some people say it's worth like $50 and some people say it's worth $200. I got It at a legitimate card shop in Fort Worth, Texas, in 1995. It has absolutely no scraches and has only been handled once, to put it in a hard-plastic screw-together case about the size of an adult's hand. If you could help me, that would be great. Thanks ![]() |

You could look around there to see how much they're going for since most online stores are ridiculously overpriced. |

That card isn't worth anything, never was. And in fact, I have a stack of them about two inches tall that my brother who worked at Toys R' Us gave me. But yeah, the value of the cards has nosedived since the Yu-Gi-Oh hype. The only card any shop around where I live will take is a Charizard, and even then they won't give you much for it. ![]() Where are these lemmings going? The Super Nintendo Super Shire! Some kid actually paid the $20.00 I asked for the Charizard. If you sold it 3 years ago though, you could get $250 for it. |

The only reason I kept it was because of emotional value, and the opprotunity to sell a piece of paper for $1000! I have had it sitting on my Nintendo cabinet for like ten years, and I'm 12/13! ![]() |

I do vaugely remember '97 as a release date, but the card says '95. Hmmm... I wonder if it's a misprint or something.... ![]() |

But, they did go through Japan before it made it to the U.S. Maybe Shigeru Myamoto (sp?) had to go through patenting processes before It came to the 'states. Thanks for sorting this out,CodieKitty and Knucles173! Now I can go to school next year(Summer break) and rub it in their faces, because they told me that it came out in '95! HAW! ![]() |

I have a huge bag of cards in a storage unit....and a Pikachu doll next to my sister's microwave! I forgot what my rarest card was. I know it was shiny. * - I posted that just so I could talk about DoA because I like boobies. | |

Gender: Posts: 2,899 Thanks: 555 Thanked 93 Times in 67 Posts | Okay......I know Monster Rancher's older, but Yu-Gi-Oh? I already beat Pok`emon Stadium By the time I got the Advertisement video from "Pegasus" (which was really Toys-R-Us) explaining what Yu-Gi-Oh was, and that it was coming out like "This Winter" or something to that extent. I really don't know, but I do know that Pok`emon came out first, but I don't know If it was out twice as long. I take that back..... But you are right in the fact that they are a rip-off of Monster Rancher. I never really got into it..... ![]() |
