OK, Splash aside cause lets just say it doesn't count, which moves in the Pokemon-verse do you just wanna flame?

Myself? I hate Giga Drain. In theaory, its an ok move, 60 damage and it drains enemy HP, but what I hate about this move is it's PP level. A 5?! IMO, a 5 PP count should onyl be acceptable in 2 instances, 1) if the move is 120 power+, or 2) if the move is a KO, of which GD is neither. It makes the move so restricted its all but useless, it doesn't do enough damage to sacrifice a larger PP move for, and there's not enough PP to make it a good mediocre move.

Anyway, that's my flame. Giga Drain. Boo.

Cut, flash, strength, scratch, tackle, poison sting and pound are too weak. Sand-attack (or mud slap) and double team are good but I hate the annoyingness of being hit by them. Swift is not useful because it is weak. Whirlwind and roar are a waste of space. Pursuit is weak and the effect is crap. Dynamic punch and zap cannon miss too much. Gust and peck are weak. Mega Kick needs more pp. The worst is metronome, because you could use a powerful attack or a useless attack and it may explode, so it is good and bad.

Certainly not.

Flash is probably the most useless move.

Mist is just plain pointless. Also, I always get rid of stat-changing moves.

Most of the HMs. Who is going to use Waterfall when you can use Surf?
Rock Smash is ridiculous.
I don't teach my pokemon Flash anymore.

^
^ Sure, it probably won't mean much of a difference when you're playing the in-game trainers, but if you're playing another person (like over Netbattle how I used to) stat-changing moves can be essential.

Water and Mud Sport. What's the point?

Also, is Mist the move that erases Stat changes, or am I confusing it with something else? That one's nice if you've got an opponent that's made itself a brick wall, super heavy hitter, or impossible to hit with both Sand Attack and Double Team.

I remember a Golbat using a move called "haze" in Pokemon Blue. I think they changed it to mist.

Rock Smash, Flash, and Cut. Worthless.

Yeah Codie, you're confusing Mist with Haze. They're two separate moves.

I thought so. Not Haze exactly, but something was telling me it was something other than Mist.

What's Mist do again? Protect from status changes altogether?

Actually two on two battles Waterfall is better than surf. Surf does half damage to opponents while waterfall hits opponents with full power.

The next batch of games should just let you have a flashlight; Flash is useless beyond all belief.

And remember, "I'm-a Charizard, number, well, six."

I also don't understand the point of Odor Sleuth and Foresight.

Foresight can be useful sometimes. Aside from decreasing the evasiveness of your opponent, (I think...my pokemon knowledge is rusty.) if a normal-type does it against a ghost-type, normal moves will be able to hit. For example, if I have a hoothoot that does foresight against a ghastly, I would be able to hit it with tackle on the next turn or something.

Personally, I wouldn't use it, but I'm just sayin.

THAT is a pretty damn good idea.

Speaking of HMs (off topic now, sorry), they should replace it with HM Jump, a Fighting type move that can let you jump back up ledges.

But yeah, Flash sucks, and the fact that its an HM only makes it suck more.

But, come on, Giga Drain is still the worst. Its totally dissapointing to the whole Grass type, which is already low on good moves. Razor Leaf is like the only good move there, Bullet Seed being too weak, Absorb too weak, Vine Whip too weak, Solarbeam needing a charge turn, and Petal Dance confusing yourself in 2 turns. (yeah . . . I kinda have been training a Vileplume recently ^_^; )

There are many moves far worse than giga drain.

Now you're confusing your moves. Foresight and Odor Sleuth null moves the raise the opponent's evasion like Double Team (and I think it also works on moves like Sand Attack which lower your Pokemon's accuracy) if they happen to be used on the same turn. What you're thinking of Mind Reader, which guarantees a hit (same with Lock-On). Odor Sleuth and Foresight don't work if they're not used on the same turn as the evasion riser (or accuracy decreaser, again I don't know about those ones).

Lock-On and Mind Reader are useful when paired with a OHKO move. I love how they gave Articuno both Mind Reader and Sheer Cold.

CK, Foresight also does what SML said. Fighting and Normal moves will be able to hit Ghost types.

NO. No more HMs. Heck, I've had enough of people like that on serebii (We need a Open Door HM)
