What the heck is this Mario Kart Double Dash?? and whatever happened to Donkey Kong Racing... wasn't that supposed to be released soon?

Mario Kart Double Dash info is posted in either the GCN Forum or Nintendoland Main Forum. Your best bet is the GCN forum.

As for the DKR game, Rareware belongs to Microsoft now, and I think it's been cancelled.

Mario Kart: Double Dash is the GCN Mario Kart, except it features a "double karts" where two characters are in one kart. I only posted it because it has Diddy Kong. And Donkey Kong Racing was cancelled but it isn't scrapped. Rare is converting it into Sabreman Racing, or something like that.

wow, this is very interesting news! I checked out Double Dash on Nintendo's official site, and I must say, it looks quite interesting. Does anyone have a release for this yet?

And as for Sabreman Racing, will it be the same as DKR, but with cavemen and sabremen instead of DK? And I assume it will be released on Gamecube?

There is not release date for MK

D so far, but I think it will come out some time this fall just before the winter holidays or next year around this time.

As for Sabreman racing, unfortunitly no, as stated already Rare belongs to Microsoft so there is little chance it will be on Gamecube. I think Rare decided to change it to Sabreman racing because he fitted the description of a jungle character, it will probably have Sabrewulf characters in it, we don't really know much about it yet.
