The hardest DK game...

I can't say I've played many of the Donkey Kong games, but out of those I have, I've found 'Donkey Kong Land' for GameBoy to be completely impossible. In the 8 years I've owned it, I haven't ever been able to get past the sencond level [img]redface.gif[/img] What DK game have you found to be the hardest?

Hard to say, none of them are as hard as they used to be. From memories of frustration it would be Donkey Kong Country 2, followed closely by DK64 and DKC3.

I just started playing DKL again, and I got up to a very memoriable area. In was in a Cloud stage, where you jump on those things to change their direction. There's this point where it's impossible to get through because the thing just moves in circles. I had no idea what I did, but I got through it by randomly jumping. That almost makes DKL a really hard game.

DK64 wins it for me. Some of the golden bananas could drive a person over the edge...

*Remembers the slide beetle and his incessant squeaking, the igloo with the deadly walls, Beaver Bother, and all the other stuff that drove him mad. Curls into a fetal position.

Oh yeah, Beaver Bother was the most frustrating thing in DK64. That thing drove me crazy for hours until I finally beat it.

I'd probably say DKC2. It's been so long since I've played either that one or DKC3 though, that that opinion may change if I were to play them again.
