What would you do in the game? What would the plot be?DK lost his bananas, and it's up to you to get it back so DK can lay on the couch and eat bananas all day?

I don't think so.

Maybe he was thinking a SM64 or SMS type game but instead of stars and shine sprites, it's be bananas.

I rather have more exploring base like DKC than collecting base like DK64.

I don't think so. Donkey Kong is still owned by Nintendo.

Let's get one thing straight from now and forever more:

RARE HAS SOLD ALL RIGHTS TO THEIR PRODUCTS TO MICROSOFT EXCEPT FOR DONKEY KONG, AS DONKEY KONG WAS ORIGNIALLY CREATED FOR AND BY NINTENDO. THIS MEANS THAT ANY RAREWARE GAMES WOULD MOST LIKELY COME OUT FOR XBOX AND NO LONGER GAMECUBE, EXCEPT FOR A DONKEY KONG GAME.

(That is, if Nintendo will continue to make DK games without Rare. That is what we don't know for sure. Will Nintendo be able to make they own DK game?)

Back on topic: Didn't they already make a game where DK searches for bananas? (ie: all of them, especially DK64)

Although oddly Rare is working on Sabrewulf, Diddy Kong Pilot and possibly Grunty's Revenge for GBA, though they are going to be Microsoft published.

As odd as it may seem it would be great if Rare will continue a Microsoft published, Nintendo Gamecube exclusive Donkey Kong Racing. It's a waste to scrap the whole thing just because they work for Microsoft now.

How can Microsoft publish "Diddy Kong Pilot" for the GBA? Diddy Kong is owned by Nintendo, and Microsoft have nothing to do with it. Sabrewulf and Grunty's Revenge are a different story, however.

The last I heard Nintendo gave Rare permission to complete Diddy Kong Pilot, but because Rare is now owned by Microsoft it will be Microsoft published.

Donkey Kong Country: DK and Diddy retrieve DK's bananas.

Donkey Kong Land: DK and Diddy retrieve DK's bananas to prove to Cranky they are worthy.

Donkey Kong 64: DK, Diddy, Chunky, Tiny, and Lanky all go out to get DK's GOLDEN bananas, which K. Rool was using for a ro******* while they fix the blast o'matic.

Donkey Kong Country (GBC): K. Rool refocuses and steals the original banana hoard again.

I'm tired of this plot.

Me too, the last thing Nintendo needs is another repeatitive plot. If this keeps up pretty soon "search for bananas" will be tied with "save Peach from Bowser" for overused plots.

The game is fun all the same with that plot, but I do agree they can beef it up a little... or a lot.
