| Guest Posts: n/a | DKC is the only hugly successful Donkey Kong game that still on the top 20 list of most vg units ever sold (forgot where, I think it's in 12th or 13th place). The question is, do you think Nintendo will ever be able pull something like that off with Donkey Kong again? Can Intelligent Systems do what Rare did? The way I see it, the upcoming DK game, Donkey Kong Island or Donkey Kong Next according Mr. Miyamoto will have to be extremly groundbreaking thats noticiable for that to happen. |

| Guest Posts: n/a | Yep there are rumors of a whole new DK adventure game coming to GCN, being developed by Intelligent Systems, the people who made Paper Mario. Mr. Miyamoto hinted it at E3 as "Donkey Kong Next". |

| Guest Posts: n/a | I don't think so, from what I heard Nintendo is trying to recreate DKC's success and it will likely be some kind of high graphic side scroller. Which doesn't really make much sense to me, but thats just early speculations and rumors. |

| Guest Posts: n/a | It would be cool if it was only two Kongs again, like on DKC1 2&3 and it was a 2 player. 2 player as in the game itself, not some hokey multiplayer. |

| Guest Posts: n/a | I originally imagined DK64, and this was back in the early N64 days, with a 1 - 4 cooperative adventure mode. It worked with all players starting out on one screen, as players splitted up, the screens splitted, and joined as the players joined. Although that didn't happen since N64 probably wasn't capable of that. Most N64 games remained single player in adventure mode with the introduction of multiplayer mode. The only N64 game I can think of that has a two player adventure mode is Jet Force Gemini. |
