That was unexpected. I'm not too thrilled about it, but I'm looking forward to see what this game will play like. I enjoy Miyamoto's creativity going too far, but I don't know about anybody else. Though I was hoping for the Donkey Kong Island rumors to be confirmed.

Also if you look at Rare's site, the DK GBA titles are finally being published by THQ, and they no longer feature Donkey Kong characters.

Diddy Kong Pilot is now Banjo Pilot
and Donkey Kong Coconut Crackers is now It's Mr. Pants.
There are also rumours that Donkey Kong Racing is now Sabreman Stampede.

I hope it's comes packaged with the game, like Hey You Pikachu did with the mic. And I imagine it will since having it sold seperatly will only turn people away.

SDA didn't come with the MAracas,but you could use the controller. I wonder what kinda music they'll have.

After looking around, this isn't a popular idea.

Well, time to see what Namco could do with the DK franchise. Namco will either do a very good job or kill DK.

I looked around for info on Samba De Amigo and aparantly somebody made something similar to Samba de Amigo in flash.

Considering Miyamoto was a big fan of Samba, it doesn't really hit me as a suprise that this move has been taken. Oh, by the way, hi I'm new. (Err.. actually i registered here a while ago but forgot my pw but thats a different story).

There's just something funny about a Donkey Kong FPS. Then again I laughed at a Metroid FPS, but still a Donkey Kong FPS soulds doesn't sound right, though it would probably be amusing to see.

Donkey Konga site

For some reason, that site haunts my dreams at night.

On the other hand Donkey Konga looks really good, but I don't know about the gameplay. Then again it will probably surprise us and turn out to be a very good game. I mean, people thought Metroid Prime was going to suck when they changed it into a First Person Shooter right? But it turned out to be one of the best games on GCN.
