Still, $255 a week, plus room and board--there's worse ways to while away eight weeks. Barring any major mishaps or horrors, I'll probably be back in mid-August some time. Take care, all. |

(I couldn't get the qualifying targets.) Then I went to a professional range and got my targets done in about a half-hour. Moral of the story? BSA archery equipment is cheap garbage. Their rifles, on the other hand, are awesome. Finished those targets by the second day. And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!" |

I've spent well over a year of my life up at camp by now. I swear, I'd hate it if I didn't love it so much. Oh, and BSA archery equipment may be cheap garbage, but, under my watch, at least it isn't broken garbage. |

My sexy BSA Venturing uniform. It's a man's life. The only thing different about this summer is that I'm going to build a full-scale functional ballista in my free time. If I kill anything cool with it I'll tell you all about it when I get back. |

Have a good summer, everyone. Be safe--I want to see you all still alive in the fall. Remember--if you're hot and thirsty, drink out of a faucet or bubbler; do NOT drink out of a toilet, aquarium, mud puddle, gas pump, septic tank, human jugular, or lava flow. Important safety rule. Also, running through a sprinkler is a fun way to beat the heat; the same cannot be said for running through a plate glass window. Use some common sense--you're breaking your poor mother's heart. Well, that's all. See you cats in August. Salud! |
