A Precaution

My mother recently warned me that if I could not meet a certain goal by either tomorrow or Wednesday, I was going to lose my computer for thirty days. So I warn you now that I may be unable to be around in the period following tomorrow. I'm posting this so that if I disappear suddenly, people know why.

No, it's actually driver's license. Bomby was right.

An annoyance, yes, since I have a pathological fear of driving, but I can overcome it to know I have the freedom to go wherever I want.

You see, I really, really, really don't want to drive. I don't want to kill people. My mom wants me to drive, though. She says it'll give me freedom. But I already live away from home during the school year. I got bushels of freedom. Screw the freedom that the license actually won't give me.

It's not that hard. Once you get behind the wheel a couple of times, you get used to it. I actually prefer to drive now rather than to ride.
