Okay, so SM64DS Luigi isn't really canon anyway.

You're missing my point. SM64DS Luigi is the perfect example of what Luigi should be like, and he was like that in Mario Party 4! And SSB/M is the worst example of what Luigi should be like.

p.s. Hal makes Yoshi look like a frog, I think Hudson and Nintendo make the best Mario characters.

Super Mario 64 DS Luigi is not canon in any way, so he should NOT be like that. SSBM is more canon than that because it's not a remake. Not that it's cannon.

That, and Mario Party 4 sucks.

I admit that different companies design different characters better. Luigi is awesome in both Smashes, it's a fact.

Just because it's a remake doesn't mean anything. How about Mario Kart DS? That has the real Luigi, who is used in SM64DS as well.( and Mario Party 4)

First of all, the design of Mario and Luigi in SSBM were based on their N64 versions (on either version, he lacked a neck, Peach looked weird except for her highly detailed dress, and Yoshi's face is almost as it should be compared to Nintendo's short-necked Yoshi), before we were used to the new Gamecube versions. Now that Brawl's Mario is now based on the current Gamecube Mario, do you think they'll do the same with Luigi?

OK, Lets take a look.

1. His clothes. The green should be much darker. The pants should be an ugly type of navy blue, not just plain blue.

I just hope they don't mess him up in Brawl, because that'll suck. This isn't 1995, where Luigi was barely different than Mario!

You know you just made a big deal over nothing.
