Secondly, the conversations on aim can be much more extensive than just posts here, and if you'd like you or me can post our conversations here.

The locations of items might be preset, but the spawns happen at random times, and there are many locations to "stand at", giving you plenty of opportunity to have bad luck. If you think that the spawns are completely avoidable, take, for example, your opponent throwing you into a spawn by luck, so it's good luck on his part, and horrible luck on yours.

You know, Chavdraa, the tournaments I go to don't have items on, so I have no need to practice with items, even though I have the ideas of how to use them properly grasped.

This one time I entered a tournament on...the west, no, maybe it was the East coast; and I was just about to show those losers how a pro SFVRRGGFGDF's (that's a special combo I made up while trying to do the umber-L337 combo with Jigglypuff one afternoon), but then I realised something...

I'm not an obsessive loser who when I'm not spending days in front of a t.v. trying to learn meaningless combos, I'm having a virtual orgasm bragging about it to strangers (who don't care) over the internet. I suggest this Tormentor guy should "wavedash" his lazy arse outside and do something worthwhile with his life.

wavedashing is only useful when it comes to Samus and other slow rollers.

You can't tell people how to play, what way is "the right way" to play and you're just acting like a huge idiot. Everyone has their own strategies and skill levels, so no one can prove how effective combos and other crap will be on other players. Items are not cheap, not even Heart Containers. Something incredibly cheap wouldn't be in the game. And if you don't like it, you can simply turn it off by going to "Item Select". Are you sure you can read that? Let me help you again....i t e m select. Don't give any bull**** statements and say they're "proof" or "facts".

Knux, if you look at SSBM as it is, it's pretty unbalanced, so in order to make it balanced certain rulesets need to be followed, like turning off some or all of the items for example, or banning the ice climbers freeze glitch.

There is no such thing as unbalanced. People need to use skill to fight the unbalanced because it is possible to fight back from a certain scenario and then win.
