The Weakest Link - Super Smash Bros. Melee Edition! - VGF

Hey, folks! Welcome to a special Super Smash Brothers Melee edition of the Weakest Link! Sorry, this does not cover the latest edition of Super Smash Brothers, Super Smash Brothers Brawl. I'll do one some day, but not now. Anyways, here are the rules:

1. Before you start, if you have a GameCube or a Wii and Super Smash Bros Melee, test out various chracters as a CPU and let them battle you, another CPU, or more than one CPU.
2a. Enter your vote for the Weakest Link and Strongest Link here, plus, if you want, a reason for why you voted for that person as the Weakest Link/Strongest Link. I suggest you look up who's in and who's out, because I have them recorded down after each round for refrence.
2b. You can't vote for more than one person, or vote for the same person in two rounds in a row.

Examples:
Valid:
Round 1:
Weakest Link - Luigi
Strongest Link - Zelda
Round 3:
Weakest Link - Luigi (if he's still there)
Strongest Link - Zelda (if she's still there)

Invalid:
Round 1:
Weakest Link - Luigi
Strongest Link - Zelda
Round 2:
Weakest Link - Luigi
Strongest Link - Zelda

I only allow duplicates after two rounds, not one.

3. After 5 or more people vote, I'll set up a deadline. Once the deadline is met, at some time either at or after the deadline, I'll post the results for the round. The Strongest Link gets one eighth of a vote subtracted for each person that votes for him (Example: 8 votes for him means he has 7.) for one round.
4. If two or three people tie for the Weakest Link, then as long as more than 10 characters remain, they all go. Otherwise, one person that hasn't voted at all for the round has to choose someone to go. In a case that there are more than three people that tie for the Weakest Link, then the same thing is done; one person that hasn't voted at all for the round has to choose someone to go. Now, I did not include any characters that you can't play as unless you use Action Replay. That would be Master Hand, Giga Bowser, etc. I only included playable characters, even the locked ones!

(1) Means that the character was voted the Strongest Link in Round 1. If you see more than one number in here, then he/she was voted more than once for the Strongest Link.
[1] Means that the character tied for the Strongest Link with someone else in Round 1. If you see more than one number in here, then he/she tied with someone else for the Strongest Link more than once.
*1* Means that the character tied for the Weakest Link with someone else and survived in Round 1. If you see more than one number in here, the he/she tied with someone else for the Weakest Link and survived more than once.
+ Means that the character is currently the Strongest Link. There can't be two of these on here at once.

There will be a list of people eliminated in order of what round they were eliminated in on the bottom before I begin the next round.

Now then, this was originally hosted on Starmen.net, but this is a new version. I would like to have your opinion on who will stay... and who will go.
