I don't think this merits an entire topic but, why the hell does my character go into a nose dive sometimes, getting me killed? I noticed Charaizard does this B.S too.

You can only fly for a limited amount of time.

Also, I think there's a certain way to time pressing the jump button so that afterwards you can still use the Up+B...I could be wrong though. Even though Pit is my favorite character I try not to glide very much.

Damn right it's annoying when it happens accidently...especially with Meta Knight. I don't use him cause his final jump forces the same glide, which equals death for me.

you could also do Side-B or Neutral-B to recover with Metaknight if you really don't want to do his up-B.
