You see, everytime we play SSBM, I like to set the damage ratio high and Roy's Up + B is usually an automatic KO. My friend really pisses me off; he's always Roy and that's pretty much the only attack he uses through the battle. Of course he almost always ends up getting the most KOs (not necessarily winning, though) and then brags about how good he is and it gets on my nerves. I try to press L or R when Im in the air to dodge it, but by the time I recover he has another chance to get at me. Really annoying, I wanna kick his ass. ![]() [ June 01, 2005, 11:07 AM: Message edited by: Knuckles173 ] |

Punt him far, keep him busy with projectiles. A good old block always works, too. ![]() |

Pikachu: Not sure; try using Quick Attack straight down. Yoshi: Hip Drop. Peach: After you air dodge, slam the stick down so you fall faster. DK: If his Air Down A and Air Forward A don't work, then do the same thing as Peach. Link: Probably Air Down A should work, or throw a bomb at him. And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!" |

They tried to fix it but they overcompensated in SSBM. All of his moves are sooo much weaker now, and some of them have added delay. |

Kirby's not unplayable, he's just not very good. His Hammer attack is total crap, for one thing; his running A attack is unwieldy at best, dangerous at worst. His B move still rocks, at least. When I play, its either Roy (my best character), Luigi, Dr. Mario, or DK. I mostly play as Roy, so I rarely counter it, but as someone who uses it, I'd say the mid air dodge could work. |
