Was playing Super Smash Bros. Melee, when I realized, maybe give the second Samus stage (if it really counts as a 'villian's stage' since there are no players that represent it over then Samus herself) there are no stages to fight in that represents the villians of SSB:M (including Ganondorf, Bowser, Mewtwo . . . and sometimes DK, though none of his stages represent anything but him being a hero). I am hoping for the next Melee they introduce some new evil stages, like Bowser's Castle, Ganon's Castle, Cinnabar Labs (or maybe Giovanni's Gym or something for Mewtwo), and maybe even the classic DK steel construction from his very first show as a villian.

Just something I noticed and am now hoping for. (shrugs)

Well, Donkey's Break the Targets stage is pretty obviously inspired by the original game (as is Mario's).

But yeah, I think a couple levels like that would be cool. Definitely Bowser's castle. But I'm not sure how Ganon's castle would work.

(Oh, and *coughsmashforumcough*)

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

Yeah, that's a good idea. I'd like to see that in action - +10 points for Seraph.

Well, Ganon's Castle would be a remake of his castle in OOT, a lot of rubble-based platforms with a huge, twisted tower in the center, bossible spinning and in mid-air. Not sure you'd add-in lava or would it just be there for cool looks, but maybe the big strike of the place would be from the blackened, swirling sky huge bolts of violet thunder will rain down, maybe even some firewalls/gysers, and, of course, it would HAVE to have the creepy organ music from the fateful meeting of Link and Ganondorf in the tower. ^_^

I have some ideas:

Bowser's Castle: A platform arena hanging above a pit of lava.

Doom Ariship: An "evil" version of the Rainbow Cruise.

Mt. Dedede: It starts off with Dedede's ring, but if you knock your oponent upwards, you'll reveal the second half of the stage: You can also fight in the castle outdoors!

Team Rocket HQ: A stage for Team Rocket Meowth (if he ever makes it). Music? Team Rocket Hideout from Pokémon Red, Green, Blue and Yellow.

New Island: From the Pokémon First Movie. Mewtwo's stage.

Big City: From Donkey Kong. Similar to the Icicle Mountain Stage, it scrolls up and down.

Halberd: From Kirby Super Star. Metaknight's stage.

You're evil! Scrolling stages are EVIL! o.o

And I think Cinnabar Lab would be a better Mewtwo Stage then New Island, just my opinion though.

I'm with Seraph. The New Island stage is a bad idea. It's from the first Pokemon film. Can't we just forget that ever happened?

As far as more villain stages go, how about we have one featuring the most villainest of villains... the Dog from Duck Hunt!

I say Phazon Crater would be cool, maybe with Metroid Prime flying through the stage, trying to knock players off the platforms down to the Phazon below (where they'd lose a life) and spawning Metroids to attack the players.

Well, you should be happy to know that Halberd was revealed to appear in Super Smash Bros. Brawl! If you don't believe me, here's some irrefutable proof: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Super_Smash_Bros._Brawl

The point he's making is this, the Halberd WAS officially shown in the trailer. Whether or not it'll make it into the final game is anybody's guess, but we've got a long time to wait.

Not irrefutable, but considering the trailer, very reliable.

If they made a bowser stage, they could make the middle out of bricks that break straight into a pit if you smash down on them too many times.

Also, let's not forget Wario and Metaknight. They need some good villain stages now too.

Wario's an Anti-Hero, not a villian, but yes, he needs a good stage. Maybe some kind of Stadium or Colliseum, being those are used often in the Mario Kart Series. Could be a moving stage similar to the idea of Mute City, but instead of cars hurting you, random items could be fired off while the events of Mario Kart happen. Wario Colliseum seems like the best bet for this one, and Wario Stadium doesn't really fit.

I'd find it funny to have a Blue Shell hit the person with the most stock(or is considered in the lead). It'd happen way late in the match, of course, and would appear a bit more quickly in SSD.
