Diddy Kong

B: Peanut Pop-Gun (Much like Fox's Rapid Fire laser with the speed of contact that Shiek's needles have, very fast and efficient, only problem is, its not that powerful)
B+up: Rocketbarrel Boost (Diddy's rocketbarrels appear on his back sending him upwards, causing fire damage to anyone who gets in his way. Would have a pretty good range but lower speed, would cause weakness afterwards, since its his lift move)
B+Down: Simian Spring (Another jumper, only problem is you have to have a surface to bounce on first. Diddy coils his tail and smashes on the ground, then leaps up, turning his body into a projectile, the angle at which Diddy is shot off can be changed by toggling the joystick while coiled)
B+Left/Right: Chimpy Charge (A charging attack, can can be charged up to increase its power, much like Luigi and Pikachu can.)

Ash/Red

B: Pokeball Throw (If you can imagine it, a sort of combination of Peach's turnip throwing with Yoshi's egg prison, Ash would throw a Pokeball at his opponent that would smack into them cause first, basic damage, then captures them in said Pokeball, leaving them defenseless until they can 'break free.' Could be chargable, charged varying the type of Pokeball used; Pokeball, Great Ball, Ultra Ball: but doesn't have too)
B+Up: Fly (Ash makes a motion fo throwing a Pokeball upwards, only to then have his hands held by a Flying Pokemon using Fly. Ash would be a bit vulnerable in this move, but the Flying type holding him would be one big damage counter, like Peach's parosol. Flying types used probably from Red/Blue, since that's where Ash/Red is from, Pidgiotto/Fearow/Farfetch'd)
B+Down: Call Starters (Again Ash had the appearence of throwing a Pokeball, only this time downward. From the Pokeball, wherever it hits, one of three basic starters appear, Bulbasaur, Charmander, or Squirtle. As soon they they show up they start using an attack, creating a large bubble that Ash can either hide in or leave to catch anyone passing by. Bubble cause cause damage and would either be in the shape of encircling flames for Ember using Charmander, spinning leaves for Razor Leaf using Bulbasaur, or surging bubbles for Bubble using Squirtle.)
B+Left/Right: Bike Rush (Ash uses his collapsable bike, bringing it out and cycling either to the right or left, causing damage to anyone who gets in his way. No charge required and can be used for as long as you don't cancel it, giving Ash three running speeds counting this one. Only problem is you get a delay when you cancel, so you can't just jump up if your going to ram a Ba-Bomb.)

...I think you're confusing Smash moves with B moves.

Ash-
B: Throw Rock
Side B: Bicycle
Up B: Escape Rope
Down B: Repel

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

Thanks for the head's up >.>

Well, I guess we can be sure at least 1 new Pokemon character will make it to Smash3, and so far I've come up with another clone of Pikachu as Raichu, a clone of Mewtwo in Mew, I once suggested Marill, and Ash/Red.

I don't know about your move set though, Captn', I mean that moveset would seem to really, really suck in battle. I thought the Pokeball thing would be great to give him an edge . . .

Well, we seem to have the exact same Side B move, so are you criticizing yourself?

As for the Poke-summons thing, I actually once contemplated that as a Down B for him, but then I realized how absurdly cheap it would be for a character to have unlimited access to Pokeballs even with items turned off. Honestly, I prefer the concept of Ash using his tools rather than his monsters for a change.

Besides, there's a lot more to the game than B moves. And I do have a Pokeball beam marked for his grab.

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

Screw Ash, Lance the Dragon Master would be so much better.
