You head around the town, most of the commoners don't seem to have any problems, or money to hire people to solve them. However they do have a lot of info on the area apparently. Rumor has it, that about a mile away from the town there is a small tomb that was buried away by sand hundreds of years ago. They say that it was recently discovered, so there is still probably some treasure left in it.

You head into the town Tavern to gather some information. There are about 8 people in it, the Bartender, 3 cloaked guys sitting at a table, a waitress, a guy sitting by himself in the corner of the bar, and 2 old men sitting at the counter of the tavern. Also, there are a few wanted posters and ads on one of the walls as well.

You look at the wanted posters. Most of them seem to just have leaders of gangs, most of the rewards for the people are around 500gp or more.

You walk past the wanted posters; go up to the Bartender and then ask about the ruins.

Bartender: Hmm? Do you mean the ones that were just found a while ago? I hear its to the west somewhere, not sure about much though... Most people don't head out into the desert unless they are travelling. So... are you like a treasure hunter or something?

Bartender: Lets see... Umm... I think there is someone researching the ruins somewhere in town. His name is Ronev I believe, he probably would hang out around the magic shop... or maybe he got a room at the inn... I'm really not too sure where he is though. That help any?

You head into the magic shop. There are a bunch of weird looking items on shelves by the counter, and one of the walls seems to be nothing but books. There are only two people in there; an old woman at the counter and a dark robed man reading a book. You assume the man must be Ronev.

Ronev: The ruins? I've been researching them lately, never really been there though. I kind of know how these ancient ruins are set up from some of the books I've read. If you want, I could lead you there. It wouldn't be a problem for me, I've been wanting to visit them for a while... But I'm not strong enough to take down some of the monsters in the desert.
