Each fireball deals 4 damage if it hits. 3 MP. Your Master, a severe but fair-minded old man named Arilin, has finally decided that he is pleased with your advancement. Your many missions have been difficult, and you nearly lost your life many a time, but you have survived and made it to The Trial. Arilin has determined that you should be tested, under the watchful eye of himself and two other Master Wizards, in the Apprentice's test. These tests are remade every few years so that prohibited information about them cannot leak to apprentices, and masters cannot help their favorite students. Your Master blindfolds you, takes your hand, and leads you for a great distance. When he removes the cloth, you see a forbidding stone structure looming before you, as well as two Masters flanking the massive doors. He does not know what will be on the test, as he had not helped to create it. Therefore, he has no words to say to you as he urges you inside, except for "Good luck." The other Masters gesture towards the doors, and they fly open towards you, nearly knocking your wind out. Arilin half-shoves you in, and the doors shut behind you with an ominous thud. You are in a very small room, not even large enough for you to stretch out completely. There is a door immediately ahead of you. Open it? Last edited by Prince Toad; 02-01-2006 at 09:20 PM. |

The room you have entered is roughly the same as the last one, but you think it might be even smaller. The door is also similar to the one that just shut, but this one has a lock on it. The numbers on the lock are as follows: 01 00 00 00 25 00 49 00 00 Do what? |

You open the door and step through. You find yourself in yet another tiny chamber. A nondescript, translucent, silvery face with ears or hair and darkness for eyes appears on the wall, bobbing up and down slowly as though it were floating in the stone. Its childlike voice echoes eerily off the walls. Face: Than my mother is there nothing hotter, Luckily my father was clear water. I hang between the earth and azure sky, But am none of these fully, what am I? |

The face disappears, nodding, and a door appears on the wall it had come from. You step through. The room you enter is, finally, fairly large. As soon as the door closes, a wolf materializes on the other end of the room. It snarls and charges you. Do what? (Options in battle include spells and attacks, but you can also do freeform stuff. That's more if you're in a specialized battleground or something, though.) |

I'll just assume you're doing the same thing. Fills Wolf HP: 12/12 MP: 0/0 Enya casts Dancing Flames. Fills attacks Enya Illusion. Enya Illusion disappears. Fills takes 5 damage. Enya's MP: 15/18 Fills's HP: 7/12 Your turn. |

Fills attacks Enya. Deals 3 damage. Enya's HP: 12/15 (this doesn't heal until the end of the trial, by the way) Enya's MP: 12/18 Fills's HP: 3/12 Your turn. The second fireball will hit him this turn, so you can basically do whatever you want. Last edited by Prince Toad; 02-01-2006 at 09:21 PM. |

The wolf falls over, singed, and quickly fades away to nothingness. You suppose it was a magical simulation or something, although your wound feels real enough. You stride to the other end of the room and open the door, then step through. The next room is smaller than the previous one, but larger than the first few. There are four equal-sized iron rods on the ground. A face appears on the door, similar to the last one. Its haunting, shrill voice echoes off the walls. Face: Create three triangles at once. Do not break or bend the rods. |

You enter the next room. When the door closes, you see a number of planks materialize in the air front of the next door. Each time a beam comes into being, a nail appears on either end before being driven into the stone door. Once the door is almost completely covered, one last plank appears and falls to the ground, along with two nails. There are some gaps in between the planks; also, no beam is exactly flat against the stone, as most of the nails weren't driven in all the way. Do what? After a brief period of rest, you press on. You enter the next room. You are surprised to find a small, living mushroom wearing a vest on his humanlike body and a crown on his head. Mushroom: Get a score of 20,000 or higher in Asteroids. |
