Can someone tell me everything about D&D?

Is it fun, and what are the rules?

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, OH WOW.

Hahah, hah, hah...Ha...Oh lord.

The rules aren't something you can just read. It's a two hundred page book.

Though, I'm sure you can find it somewhere if you search Google. I have this, but I don't think it has rules.

Go for 3.5th Edition, 4th Edition is a piece of crap.

Well it definitely isn't a book, more like a Dictionary from what I know. Whatever you need to know you flip to the corresponding page. If you're wondering about race descriptions, items, and etc. you flip to those pages and read up on it.

The easiest way to learn D&D is to play with an experienced DM and get hands-on experience. Three hours worth of D&D in real life is sufficient to get the hang of the basics.

Not sure about DMing though, but one thing is certain: you must start off as a player before even considering DMing when it comes to D&D.

It's too much information for one topic. I've DMed for over 4 years, you have to look and relook over the PHB until your eyes explode.

Hm... Well, I really want to play it. Would someone here be willing to make a topic here for playing D&D, sort of a Campaign for teaching me how to play? Like the story is my character is being taught how to fight and stuff.

So the DM is teaching me while it's going along. Who'd do that with me?

I would be willing to teach you some, when I am less busy.

If you are in any hurry, I am afraid I will have to disappoint you.

I don't really know much about dnd, but i think like half or more of the book is a just a reference, you can just look it up when needed instead of memorizing it.
