An Adventurer's life

This game is about having a big adventure. You start off low level in the middle of the action. You do whatever you can to survive and find treasure and become famous. You can recruit or hire people you come across to adventure with you.

You can basically do whatever you want, the game is pretty free form. There is no real combat system, its basically just interaction like normal (although I take your class, equipment and level into account, along with whatever you do when I determine if you're successful or not) You can hire and recruit people to adventure with you.

Your character starts at level 1. You'll gain abilities as you level up. Most of the XP you gain will be from completing quests and finding treasure and becoming famous, not by killing monsters or people. Speaking of which, low level characters, especially ones who are not Mage Blades, Fighters or Knights are very very likely to die if they get into a straight out fight. Feel free to run away if the situation is starting to get bad.

You do not get to pick your starting gear, you will start in media res (in the middle of the action), and will have to work with what I give you.

Bio: Just give me a brief description of your character.
Character Type: Pick one from the following.

Adventurer have plenty of knowledge of surviving in the wild, are adept at defending themselves and setting up ambushes, and they can track. Adventurers are proficient archers and swordsman.

Fighter are the best hand to hand combatants. They don't really have much skill outside of combat.

Clerics possess magical healing and some of the best defensive magic there is. They have no real combat training however.

Knights are nobles trained for war. They possess a warhorse and heavy armor, and have connections to nobility of some kind.

Mages can use magic to deal with threats and obstacles. Mages are effective, but require protection and a lot of materials and equipment to use some of their magic.

Mage Blades are trained as both a mage and a fighter, but are not as good at either.

Scouts have the best perception of any character type, and are the second stealthiest after thieves. They're adequate in combat.

Thieves are the fastest and stealthiest character type. They can outwit most people, can find and disarm traps. They are not good in a straight fight, but are very good at ambushing and backstabbing.
