Duelists Battleclub

Yeah, again I feel like doing both an adventure and a battleclub topic, if anyone wants to join this one. Its different from the original. I'm still running An adventurer's life if anyone wants to join that one too.

Name
Age:
Sex:
Bio: Optional

You have 60 points to split between

HP: How much damage you can take before losing.
MP: How much you can use magic before tiring out.
AP: AP is spent on your attacks and defenses, and refreshes every other round.

You have 72 points to split between

Accuracy: How likely your attacks are to hit or deal a critical hit.
Attack Speed: How quick your attacks are.
Magic Ability: Your abilility to use magic.
Move Speed: How far and fast you can move in a round.
Power: Powerful attacks keep opponent's off guard, deal more damage, may knock them back or down, penetrate armor better.
Reflex: Your ability to react to an enemy's attack.

Abilities
---------
Create 3 abilities Abilities can basically do whatever you want.

Equipment
---------
Choose weapon and armor to start. You have to earn gold for things other than weapons and armor.
Weapon: Pick your weapon type.

Armor: Pick what armor you want.
No armor allows you to move at your fastest and at full reflex, but gives you no protection.
Light armor provides modest protection from weapons, but slows you down a little bit.
Medium Armor provides good protection, but lower speed and reflex.
Heavy armor provides the best protection and the greatest penalty to speed and reflex.
A shield allows for even better defense but you can't use two handed weapons.
A helmet helps protect against critical attacks but lowers your ability to react even further (depending on the weight of the armor you choose).

Combat
------
Combat is fought through a series of exchanges. AP refreshes at the beginning of every odd exchange. You have full AP at the start of the first echange, third exchange, fifth exchange, etc.

In the first exchange, Initaitive goes to the character with the fastest Attack Speed. He gets to choose what he is doing to fight his opponent and how much of his AP he will spend. The opponent decides how much of his AP he will spend and what he will do in reaction to the opponent's attack. Once the opponent decides on his reaction, I'll post the results. Things like the reach of one's weapon, where one moves to, abilities, a character's attack speed or any number of things may result in a character gaining Initative for two or more exchanges in a row.

The opponent with Initative gets to attack by default, but the defending character can try to counter attack, to interrupt his opponent's attack or any number of things instead of simply defending.

To speed things up, when reacting to your opponent, you can also declare what you are doing, and set whatever conditions you want, since you won't see the results first if you do that.
