You have been travelling for the past several days and have recently arrived in the town of Selenth. It is a fairly large town in the east and its known for being the home to some of the most powerful mages in the world.

You arrive into the town through its southern entrance. Looking around, you see about a dozen people on the streets and about that many buildings in this part of town, and off to the north you can see a tower somewhat close to the town. Of those buildings you see, there is an Inn, a Tavern, and a General Store. There are 3 paths you can take further into the city, one to the east, one to the west, and the other north towards the center. And lastly there is a path heading south out of the town.

Currently the only thing you have with you is 500gp.
So, what do you want to do?

You head into the General Store. Its a fairly small building, but the space is used well; all around the store there are multiple shelves and cabinets packed with just about everything; food, clothes, tools, and a few other assorted things.

A man standing behind the counter looks at you. "Can I help you with anything?"

"Hmm, I could use a good backpack, two flasks, a good knife, and some pouches. Also, what's that tower north of town?"

Sorry for the wait. Also, sorry that this doesn't have much to it yet. I'm kind of wondering if I should do something where stats matter more, but for now I'll probably keep going with this. :/
------

"Sure thing." The man gets up and starts collecting the things you asked for. "Okay, so a backpack, two flasks, a hunting knife, and two pouches. I could probably get you some more if you wanted, but you might have more trouble carrying a few more without something else to tie them to. So, can I help you with anything else, or will that be all? If so, that will be 60gp."

"Oh, and as for the tower, that's where some of the mages in town live. I heard they did some experiments with magic too, but I'm not really too sure what goes on in it."

If I'm not wearing a belt, I'll get one too. I'll ask him if anyone in town (or him) sells potions.

You add a belt to the things you want to buy and ask if there is anywhere to buy potions in the town.

"If you mean for healing then here is as good a place as any; I got a few basic ones for healing wounds and restoring energy, but they're not too strong. If you need something stronger, in the eastern part of town there's a doctor who could make whatever you need. Or if you're looking for a different kind of potion, some of the magic shops around here probably carry a few."

K, thanks. I'll pay him for the stuff I asked for and check out the magic shops.
