Appearance - Stands around six feet, with long, unruly blonde hair. Beautiful cyan eyes. He wears a mustard colored jacket that matches his pants over a black sleeveless shirt.
Bio - Diego Brangwin was born a cold blooded killer. All of his life he's had a twisted view on life, getting a sick twisted pleasure out of torturing other living things. As the disasters unfolded, he found himself sickeningly delighted by the chaos, not even batting an eye when his parents were devoured by the events. He took the total discord as a chance to murder those forsaken. It was okay, wasn't it? It was the inevitable. However, it wouldn't do. He would die were he to remain out there on his own. Fortunately, he discovered "The Guardians". An organization to protect humanity? Why would they want to do that? Humans are wretched things, let the world burn! Ah well, they offer him a place to sleep and meals to eat ... They wouldn't know the difference, would they?

Magician: Diego is a skilled caster, and not much else. As a result, his skill with magic is significantly increased while wielding something he can channel his magic into (Staff, Wand)
Bluff: Diego is an excellent liar. He can get people to believe even outrageous things.
Defensive: Diego isn't skilled with fists, but what he can use them for is disabling an opponent who got too close, or even catching a stray projectile, should his luck perk up.
Sneak: Diego is a friend of the shadows, and can often times drop in on people unnoticed. Also helps him pickpocket.

XXI - The World: Diego is capable of manipulating time, but considering how strenuous this task is, the manipulation is quite limited. He is capable of slowing down, hasting, or briefly stopping small areas or individuals.
o Slow - Slows time for everyone except Diego. Increases own evasion and accuracy of all attacks while slowed. 1MP per turn of battle time is slowed.
o Stop - Completely stops time for everyone except Diego. No one else can act while time is stopped and accuracy of attacks becomes perfect. 2MP per turn of battle time is stopped.
XII - The Hanged Man: Creates and throws knives at a target (1MP) or over an entire area (2MP). Inflicts 10 to 60 damage on each target.
VI - The Lovers: Drains 20 health from a target for 1MP.

You walk into a base of the Guardians, coming back from a rescue mission which was unsuccessful. ...for some reason. The base is somewhat secluded and far away from the other Guardian groups, located by a forest which has lately been inhabitted by some strong creatures. Most of the shelter is just crudely built houses and walls; the shelter as a whole isn't that big, but is put together decently. This base is mostly for rescue and for gathering supplies for the other Guardian bases.

Right now there are a few people around, most of them standing guard in case of trouble. One building belongs to the leader, who you should visit if you want any missions, and another holds most of the supplies here. The rest of the buildings probably have a few people in them who aren't doing much.

What will you do?

...Sorry for the wait; vacation / no internet for a good part of it + general laziness.

You visit the leader of the base; a young man named Garan Eisel. He stares at you as you walk in and speaks to you with a somewhat annoyed tone to his voice.

"Diego. I heard that you weren't able to fulfill the last mission I gave you; and you're coming here for another?" He looks downward and sighs. "Fine. Take someone else with you and scout through the woods. I doubt there would be survivors there, but if there are any bring them back. Otherwise just eliminate any monsters you see; otherwise they'll just cause trouble for us later on. Any objections to this?"

"No, that's ... fine." Diego scowled in resentment of his remark, yet remaining polite while addressing his "leader".

"So, who's coming with me?"

"I'll pair you up with Liam Ravel; he's been a Guardian for a long time and so far he's yet to fail a mission, so it should be good news for you. I'll tell him about it; so for now just just ready for it. Once both of you are ready you can head out whenever you want. Unless you have anything else to say you can leave now."
