I completely disagree. Clones are never as powerful as the real thing.

Clones mean this - exactly the same thing.

Therefore, the clone of Maul would be every bit as powerful as the original.

The clone troopers had suppressed initiative to make them more obedient soldiers. I would presume Maul's clone didn't have such a weakness.

weren't the clones engineered to be obediant FIGHTERS? A clone of Maul could be altered to be more powerful than Vader, but it'd take a LOT of work, and he'd probably STILL lose.....
