I have to disagree. Maul was still an aprentace when he fought Obiwan. Palpatine said he was hs NEW aprentace. Yet Vader was his aprentace for over 30 years!! Also, vader fought Obiwan when Obiwan was a master and was very good at Jedi arts

yes, but for the sith, to become the master, you must slay the master, something vader never did until the end of episode 6, by then he was dead as well.

i think if you took out the force powers, maul would win, but if force was used, Vader would..... cept old vader, in the new trilogy, then it may be about even....
