New Mario RPG

I'm trying to think of what would be good in the fourth one.

I think that in this storyline, Peach should not be kidnapped like she is in most Mario games. Also, I want the party members from Paper Mario back.

if you haven't noticed, in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, Peach did not get kidnapped at first, only her voice was taken. then later on, after you defeat Cackeletta the first time, she gets kidnapped and you resque her shortly after...

The only thing I've noticed about M&L:SS is the fact it's the only game where Peach actually yells for Luigi to save her for once.

Bet you sixteen cents the next RPG will feature a whole new character as a boss. [img]redface.gif[/img]

actually I think the next mario RPG should be a joint projet by Nintendo and the sonic team for a crossover RPG with Eggman and Smithy as the main villans! (I love crossovers )
the plot would be something like Eggman trying to use the Chaos emeralds to power this big weapon but when Sonic and friends show up the chaos emeralds backfire causing a huge Chaos Control wave and sending everyone to the Mushroom Kingdom. the Chaos emeralds erupt from Eggman's weapon and scatter to the far reaches of the mushroom world.
While this is happening, Exor and Smithy's Gang have taken Bowser's castle again, but this time activate a forcefield around the castle to prevent Mario and the others from getting anywhere close to Bowser's place, and on top of that the star road has shattered again and the parts have also scattered. both sets of items must be collected in order to defeat Smithy and Eggman and restore order to the mushroom world.

(it's a work in progress, anyone know where I can get some mario charasets for RPGMaker 2K?)

If nintendo really wanted to get creative they could make this game a 2 disc for Gamecube. I could see that being a huge success really in my opinion.

yes there has, paper mario is considered SMRPG2 and M&L:SSS is considered SMRPG3

Nah. Lame games don't count as sequels, especially ones that don't even have the title...
Paper Mario WAS GOING TO BE Mario RPG 2, but then Miyamoto had a 'great idea' to make a ****ty game instead of a sequel. M&L has never even been referenced by Nintendo as a sequel, and Square hasn't been in on either of those games.

I'm Playing Paper Mario right now. Hell, it still fun. But It would be cooler if there was a Paper Luigi, where he had to Save Daisy from Tatanga.

Even if they were lame, their still sequels & disliking them doesn't change anything.

I see them as sequals. It's supposed to be the Mario RPG series..if Mario is in an RPG well then it is obviously a sequal.

Paper Mario and M&L both rocked, BTW.
