Overall plot: Eggman was attacked the nation of Mobius, using the invention of 1 of it's top scientists, the roboticizer created by Sir Charles, the mad doc is transforming the kingdom's population into mindless robotic slaves.

Team Sonic (the mandatory trio)
Story: Sonic receives a distress signal from his Uncle in Mobius & gathers the gang together to save the day
Team Blast: Same as before
Enemies: Standard Eggman robot assortment

Team Freedom
Speed: Sally Acorn (If Amy can be a speed character...). Her version of the homing attack is a flying kick. She can use a hand-held computer to hack into electronic systems.
Power: Bunnie Rabbot. A halfway-roboticized mobian, Bunnie can use her metal limbs to smash with ease.
Flight: Rotor Whateverthehellhislastnameis. A master mechanic whose skills rival that of Tails, this Walrus has constructed a personal flying machine to transport him & his teammates around.
Team Blast: Sally shouts, "Ready, FIRE!" & Bunnie fires a laser beam from her arm while Rotor throws bombs.
Story: After Eggman overthrew her father; Princess Sally Acorn formed a small resistance force to fight back against the Eggman Empire. Oh, & may I add that this whole story continues off of Sonic Spinball & not SatAM?
Enemies: Robians (Roboticized Mobians). They are indestructible mainly because Team Freedom doesn't wish to destroy them.

Team Mecha
Speed: Silver Sonic (STH2, S&K). Has the appearance of his SA1 self.
Power: Metal Knuckles (Sonic R, Sonic Advance 1). Appearance is that of SAdv1 with drills on his hands.
Flight: Tails Doll (Sonic R). Has a new robotic body. Has a propeller for tails that can shoot out like a boomerang.
Team Blast: Silver grabs a Chaos Emerald out of no way & fires energy balls from his chest. A small red gem pops out of TD's forehead & fires a laser beam. MetKnux fires missiles from his mouth.
Story: After witnessing Metal Sonic's defeat after at the end of SH1, Dr. Eggman remade his remaining robo clones to fight as an elite commando squad. As of the Mobian invasion, Team Mecha is serving under the direct command of Eggman Empire General Egg Robo no. 39 (don't ask why 39 I just picked a random number).
Enemies: GUN bots.

Gameplay: No longer is there anyway formation switching. Instead each team is in permanent Speed Formation & a couple of buttons on the controller will activate the moves of the Power & flying members. This change will give the game a much-needed increase in it’s pacing although a few of the hidden team may not work as well in this game as they would in SH1.

Possible stages/bosses
1. Mobotroplis (Capital city of Mobius, logical starting point for all teams)
2. Castle Acorn
Boss 1: Egg Robo (For Team Sonic)/Eggman (Team Freedom)/Large GUN bot (for Team Mecha)
Cutscenes: King Acorn roboticized, Eggman has control of the city, the 3 teams encounter each other, TS & TF lead survivors to safety while General Robo & TM give chase.
3. Standard Tropical/Beach stage
4. Tropical/Beach stage
Boss 2: Team Mecha/E-Series/Team Sonic
Cutscenes: TM celebrate their victory while Robo points out that the heroes have escaped (TM story only), TS & TF find a deep forest that could serve as a good hiding spot
5. Great Forest
6. New Knothole
Boss 3: Some large animal (Dulcy perhaps?)
Cutscenes: The refuges from Mobotroplis create a small village, which is named Knothole. TS runs off to fight Eggman, Sally, Rotor & Bunnie agrees to sticking together & doing everything in their power to save Mobius. The bad guys give up searching & continue the domination of the kingdom.

8. Mauga City
Boss 4: Terripod/Egg Robo/ Ancient Guardian
Cutscenes: TS Sees an Eggman base far off into an uncharted area of Mobius & goes to take it down. Finding the city abandoned, TF picks up a lead that there may be more Freedom Fighters in the Great Unknown, which they decides to investigate. General Egg Robo informs TM that there are reports of rouge terrorist sabotaging a base in the wasteland sector.

Boss 5: The Kraken monster
Cutscenes: TS carries on with their mission, TF talks with Kraken & convinces him who the real enemy is, TM enter the Great Unknown & ponder why there’s so many places with Great in the name.

Boss 6: Mighty Eggman robot/Team Mecha/Team Freedom
Cutscenes: TM encounters a pack of Wolfen terrorists who escape thanks to TF. After joking that they’ll be going to the Great Pile of **** next, an announcement from Dr. Eggman declares that any & all forces in the Mobius nation hurry back to his location ASAP. TS & TF reunite & meet with the Wolfpack freedom fighters that have stolen a radio transmitter that can be used to communicate with the other Freedom Fighters & remaining GUN troops & mount a final assault against Eggman & retake Mobotroplis.
Cutscenes: A massive battle of GUN & Eggman airships & armies are battling in the capital city while dozens of furries are infiltrating the main tower at the center.

Boss 7: Eggman/Eggman/Omega
Cutscenes: TS finds & saves Sonic’s Uncle Chuck, TF hacks the Roboticizer & begins restoring the Robians including Sally’s father who Sally has a tearful reunion with, TM find their beaten creator who tells them to protect his secret weapon from TS at all costs.

Last Side Story
Cutscenes: A fully organic Sir Charles (AKA Uncle Chuck) cuts the victory celebration short by explaining that Eggman has had the Robians construct a massive flying weapon powered by a pair of powerful stones that generate an energy wave that’ll roboticize the entire planet. Take a guess what Team Sonic & Team Freedom decides to do.
Final Stage-Mega Roboticizer
A. TS race to get the 1st Deep Power Stone
B. TF rush to the 2nd Deep Power Stone
C. TM runs to the center of the ship
Cutscenes: TM meets the other 2 teams & informs them that “Bossnik” made sure to leave enough power in the Mega Roboticizer to not only transform the world but to transform themselves into their Super forms. TF hands their DPS to TS so they can fight back.
Final Boss: Team Super Sonic vs. Team Super Mecha (your Team Sonic)
Final Cutscene: TF power down the Mega Roboticizer so TS can safely trash it without causing a massive explosion. Egg Robo no. 39 & what’s left of Eggman’s forces are destroyed by GUN. Eggman gets thrown in a Mobian prison. There’s a massive celebration party at the restored Castle Acorn. Sonic, Tails & Knuckles say their goodbyes to Sally, Rotor & a deroboticized Bunnie. As Team Sonic leaves in the Tornado, a heavily damaged Team Mecha watches them fly off into the sunset, vowing that the war is far from over.
Fade to Black, Cue Credits.

Team E-Series (X-Box version only) (Earn all Emblems)
Speed: Gamma
Power: Zero

Team Mario (GC version only) (Earn all Emblems)
Speed: Yoshi
Power: Mario
Flight: Luigi with FLUDD

Race Mode: 2 players race each other through 1 of the game’s stages.
Battle Mode: 2 players battle each other.
Boss Race: 2 players battle a boss & whoever damages it the most wins.

Team Mario would be VERY slim chance of getting in there. But nice idea though. Shouldn't you have Chaotix, Dark, and Rose as well?

Team Chatoix, Dark and Rose MUST be in there. Well duh-Team Chatoix and Team Dark are the best and Big is cool.

You mean in the Story mode? I wanted too, but I didn't see how they would fit in with the plot. Well okay, I did add Omega as the last boss for Team Mecha's story (he's the commander of the GUN task force sent to Mobius) & Team Dark could've been worked in through that, but it brings up the question of what kind of enemies they'll face (since each team has different common enemies to face). Also, I can't begain to figure a way to fit them in the Last story, so I just gave up & reduced them to multiplayer.

Also of concern was the ratio between Segasonic teams & the sole SatAM team. It seemed like too much on 1 side & too little on the other.

Big got cut from Team Rose for 2 reasons: 1. I wanted Cheeze to actually do something & 2. Big was only on the team to find Froggy & since that's done & over with, He's got no need to stick around for more adventures when he'd perfer a nice quiet life.
