Basically, you play as a kid who's trying to become the local B-Ball champ. Now, I don't play basketball, but honestly, it'd be a good idea. It'd have an RPG-like premises. You have stats that you increase by playing in games. You could explore a town and buy stuff like clothes for character editing or increase stats a bit, like shoes or guidebooks. Then you'd challenge people to games, either one-on-one or team. You'd start off at the bottom, playing in your backyard or at school, and once you'd reach the top, you'd be playing in the major leagues. You'd be able to upgrade to new basketballs via stores or getting them through special events, and they could help boost your stats, plus the fact that you need one to play, of course. Balls would wear down over time, forcing you to replace it or buy a replenishing kit. Friends can be made by meeting them or perhaps defeating them in a game, and then they can be added to your team for use in games. Finally, while not in a game, the ball can be used to do stuff like hit switches, retrieve items, or bonk people. |
