I mean, Pike opened it up to some kind of a sequel with his dying words. Probably ain't gonna happen. The game's way too unpopular. ![]() Where are these lemmings going? Phantasy Star V-I had a topic discussing my idea for a Phantasy Star V plot would be. It's somewhere in this forum. The rest of the Ogre battle series. LucT's Chapter VII, I think that March of the black queen's V and that Ogre Battle 64's VI. KoL's only a side-story, and I think it takes place either during or after VI. (I know it's before VII because Alphonse plays a role in LucT) Another sequel to Space Channel 5. Freedom Force II. (PC-And aren't you glad that I didn't get you confused with the NES one CK? ) There could be other villians mutated or given powers by Energy X. |

And the later ones started to take a nosedive (yes, Revolution came out after 3D, the worst Lemmings game ever, I know.) ![]() Where are these lemmings going? The Super Nintendo Super Shire! I mean, they left that series without much resolution, right? |

However, a new Perfect Dark game in production for the Xbox (well, I'm fairly certain there's one. There's that chance it's just a very popular rumor, but I doubt it) I played JFG some a few days ago, and hated every bit of it. Didn't Rare realize how awful that targeting system is, combined with the large numbers of enemies that attack you at once? And the camera? And Juno's running animation? I laughed my ass off at how corny that opening cinema was. Now, Blast Corps, that's another story. Smashing things = FUN! ![]() Where are these lemmings going? The Super Nintendo Super Shire! THINK OH NO! MORE LEMMINGS FOR THE GBC!! EXTREMELEY CRAPPY NON-REVOLUTIONS LEMMING GAMES RIGHT THERE!!! </font>
That wasn't a sequel; that was a port. It included the original Lemmings, and Oh No is basically supplemental levels for the original. I'm not kidding on Jet Force Gemini. You hold R while trying to get the flimsly control stick to get the cursor in the exact right spot because the slightest inaccuracy will result in a miss, all the meantime enemies are shooting at you from about eight different directions (and that's just if you're in a corner). I'm aware of the strafing, but that just makes aiming even MORE difficult! Okay, auto-aiming ain't bad at all. I just wish Auto-aiming didn't leave out any targets that weren't touching the ground, even if they're not even above Juno's head! Now, Shadows of the Empire used a good targeting system. Dash would automatically lock onto distant enemies, but it took him a few seconds to actually lock on. And if I recall correctly, the game automatically calculates some kind of accuracy percentage. Sure, it was kind of easy, but that left your hands free to dodge enemy bullets, and the game didn't throw fifteen enemies at you at once. The N64 is capable of more than slow-mo mid-air-split running animations. Even Super Mario 64 proves that. That was not the N64's fault. That was Rare being lazy. ![]() Where are these lemmings going? The Super Nintendo Super Shire! Hop in line and follow them there! | |
