We lost all of the previous entries in the crash, so I'm starting it again. The rules are the same, and this time I'll save people's ideas. I'm sorry, everyone.

Super Smash Brothers 3: the RPG wars.
(or just an RPG fighter, whichever works)

in this SSB game you can choose RPG heros as your fighters. you can have 1-vs-1, 2-vs-2, or 3-vs-3 in the arcade mode. in adventure mode you go through levels to get to your opponent, and you have three team-mates with you which you can switch between to get over certain obsticals.

the final boss of arcade mode will be Kefka and Sepheroth, in adventure mode you will face their fallen angel forms. then if the level of difficulty is set to normal or higher, in arcade you will face Lavos after defeating Kefka and Sepheroth, in adventure mode you will face Tiamat after the battle with Kefka and Sepheroth.

here are the playable charicters:

Crono
Marle
Terra
Locke
Rydia
MegaMan.EXE
Tidus
Yuna
Cloud
Squal

secret:
Magus
Ness
Marth
Roy
Goku
Link
Ryu (breath of fire)

there will also be plenty of trophys.

the arenas will be really elaborate and reflect the charicter very well.

Only problem with that is that many of those characters aren't from Nintendo.

Interesting combination. If you don't mind me asking, how'd you come up with that when thinking about the LttP medallions?

Pokemon Training Challenge
In this game you choose a Pokemon (any of the 251 old ones; none of the creepy new ones that are coming out)

You train it yourself and enter it in things like battles, beauty contests, races and things like that. You can battle the all new gym leaders and catch other Pokemon and have some given to you by other people. You can get items such as grooming tools (brushes and such), Pokemon Food (yes, your Pokemon do get hungry and won't be able to battle if they're over hungry)
~~~~~~~~~~~
GYM LEADERS:
Casey - she trains Dark Type Pokemon, an Umbreon (level 14) and a Houndour (level 15) and rewards with the Midnight Badge
Leon - he trains Water Type Pokemon, a Marill (level 16), a Croconaw (level 20) and a Poliwhirl (Level 21) and rewards with the Rain Badge
Zuma - She trains Psychic Type Pokemon, an Espeon (Level 23), a Kadabra (Level 24), a Wobbuffet (Level 21) and a Mr. Mime (level 22) and rewards with the Future Badge
Jack - He trains Flying type Pokemon, A Noctowl (Level 29), a Togetic (Level 25) and a Pigeotto (Level 28) and rewards with Talon Badge.
Vivian - She trains Poison Type Pokemon, a Venomoth (Level 29), a Nidoqueen (Level 32) and a Crobat (Level 35) And rewards with Venom Badge.
Sterling - He trains Ground Type Pokemon, A Marowak (level 40), a Sandslash (Level 42) and a Larvitar (Level 38) and rewards with Dust Badge.
Actually, my idea involved the topic what one-time weapon should be brought back again, but when you mentioned the contest the gears started turning and this was what came out!
Do you like it?
Creepy, I once created a similiar badge, but instead of dark types she (Luna) used nighttime Pokemon (Gastly, Spinarak, and Noctowl) and she was the second trainer, first was Rocky who was incharge of the JetBadge gym, he used very fast pokemon (Ponyta and Doduo).
he-he, what a blast from the past!
(Here are the others, ArmorBadge (hi defense), RoyalBadge (all had King or Queen in name), HealthBadge (used healing pokemon), EvilBadge (dark pokemon), MorphBadge (used eevee evos and any pokemon that needed evo stone), and one more I can't remember, I'll have to look it up!
I got a game that's kinda like that:
* title still being thought of at the time *
Storyline:It is something like 4000 AD. The Mech univerce and the Gundam univerce have collided, causing mass chaos. THe only way to work out the conflict between who gets what territory... IS DESTRUCTION OF THE OTHER SIDE.
System: GameCube
Gameplay:
STory-mode: You play the storyline after choosing your side. You can modify your mech/Gundam between missions (better weapons, armor, build custom mech/Gundam, ect.), and choose what you want to do ( eg: you can decide between battle or capture base, and rarely ( this is the only choice when it's there ) defend own base ) and you can play 4 players at a time, on different teams if they want ( then the sides take turns for missions, and sometimes, face each other ) If you die, you have to start from your last save. In 4 player case, use another life. If you lose all of your lives, game is over for that player.
Family-mode: Play with your friends! 4 players at a time! Different game modes.
Controls: ( legend: G=Gundam control. M= Mech control MG= Mech and Gundam control )
Control stick: move ( MG )
C stick: turn upper part of body (MG)
A: fly (G)
A: use jumpjets* (M)
B: fire (MG)
Y or X : change weapon (MG)
L: strafe left ( G )
R: Strafe right ( G )
Z: change view (MG)
I think there's more than that, but I forgot...
Options: sound + Music Volium: you know what this is.
Movies: You know this too.
*** END OF OPTIONS ***
Mechs and Gundams: Mechs may be heavy and slow, but their massive armor and power ( guns ) make up for that. The fastest only reaches 110 kp/h. some can use jumpjets, a device used like a jet. It propels the mech into the air( a little ). If you're not careful, the fall will damage the mech's legs.
Gundams are fast, can fly, and have decent weponary, but have pathetic armor. they reach high speeds normally.
Perks: Beautiful graphics. Many levels. Realisticness 'ahoy.
Flaws: massive game. Costly and takes up an entire memory card to hold all of the secrets and stuff.
Well, that's my game.
oooo..give me more...These ideas are pretty good, and some I might even try to make....Of course, they'd have to be PC and 2D, buit with about teh same idea. I'd probably get rid of the characters and add my own, too; I don't want a lawsuit, and original things seem to come out better. I like the robot one, by the way.
This thread is useful...Of course, I'd have to finish my current projects first.
Eizehander
Genere: Puzzle/Fighting
Rating: Kids to Adult
Storyline: In the city of Tokyo, there are various schools. Each year, these schools have a battle of wits, skill, and fighting. Well, that's what the adverts say. In reality, it's just seeing a bunch of kids on teams of 3 beat the living hell out of each other. But there's a catch: They have to predict what moves to use against the opponent.
Gameplay: Eizehander(title pending) is a puzzle game combined with a fighting game. On screen, you will see three things: Your character currenlty in use, your teammates(in the background, either cheering, mocking, or booing you depending on your progress), and your opponent. Fights are decided in the overworld by challenging other teams. During the fights, two lifebars appear over the characters currently in battle. To see your list of moves, press select. The move list will appear. To perform that move, simply do the motion described. Your character will do that move. The opposing character can either a. block, b. attack, or c. take dammage. Of course, the catch is, every character has their own abilties. Some characters can dodge, then attack, while others will take damage and not be affected. As you continue on, the abilities of your opponents will become more apparent.
Graphic style: There will be two modes: Default and SD, or super-deformed. Default has a more tradtional fighting game look, while SD looks like a joke fighting game. The graphical mode you pick will determine the style of gameplay. Default has more normal moves and the controls are easier to pull off. There is no time limit, but rather what you can do is limited by the abilities of your character(and characters on your team which you selected) and your life bar. SD has more outrageous moves(akin to that of games like Pocket Fighter and Capcom's Vampire series). You are limited by a time limit and a constantly decreasing life bar. The more moves you pull off at once, the more damage is done and the more life you gain.
Scoring: The scoring system in Einhander is not different from most puzzlers. For example, a simple punch will give you 1,000 points. The more attacks done at once, the score doubles. This results in a Link(or combo). When more links connect, the score multiplies by three.
Example: Character A(James) does a 3-hit combo. Character B(Razzmatazz) decides to take damage. This gives James's team 3,000 points. Razzmatazz is done dammage and loses the full damage of -3,000 points.
Current Score: Jame's team: 3,000; Razzmatazz: -3,000 points
Of course, if the attack is blocked, then the score is dropped by 1,000 points and is given to another team.
Example: Character A(James) does same 3-hit combo. Character B(Razzmatazz) blocks. 1,000 points are taken away from James's team and is given to Razzmatazz's team.
Current score: James's team: 2,000 points; Razzmatazz's team: 1,000 points.
Or, Razzmatazz could counter with his own attack. He decides to use his Alpha Sweep. This attack is equavilent to a 2-hit combo. This would lower the damage done and points lost.
Example: Character A(James) does 3-hit combo. Character B(Razzmatazz) counters with Alpha Sweep. Damage is lowered, and points lost is cut by -350 points, while 200 points are added to the points lost.
Current Score(assuming he didn't block first)
Jame's Team: 3,000 points
Razzmatazz's team: -150 points
Bosses: The bosses depend on which team you are playing as. The 5 teams which you start out with will meet their enemies(ex. Jame's first boss is the Hall Monitor). As they progress, they will fight other teams, enemies, and if certain conditions are met, fight against rivals. When the rival characters and bosses are beaten, the character who was in the fight gains one of defeated rival's or boss's abilities.
How to win: How you win depends on which mode you picked. If you are on Default, you can win by knocking out your opponent, while on SD, you can win by
a. reaching the score limit(or going above it) in the time alloted
or
b. taking out your current opponent's lifebar by constantly hitting them to the point where recovery is near impossible
Tell me what you think, and what should be changed.
Alright, I've got one.
Name: Dark Bros. (Fist of Bowser and Age of Ganon)
System: Gamecube
Developer: Prolly Camelot
Layout: Two game package consisting of Fist of Bowser and Age of Ganon. In each, you control an archnemisis and attempt to conquer your empire and fend off a hero's onslaught. Each is suited to Mario or Zelda style. For example; in Fist of Bowser you control the placing of Goomba's around the castle in attempts to chip off enough of Mario's life that when it come to the main bad guy you can manage to kill him once. Of course, being the hero, he'd come back with his next life to kill your guy, but having gotten a life of him, when he eventually faces you, that would lead to an advantage. And, if he plows through your forces he'd start getting 1-UPs and stuff. It's a perfect combonation of strategy and action! In Age of Ganon, you'd place Octoroks and skull kids. And create bosses and build dungeons and all sorts of fun stuff in both games. And of course play as Bowser and Ganon at the end in each game. Whoo! I want to play it already.
Tik it Already
It's good to see that the contest is coming along.
At this point, I shall save everyone's ideas on my HD, so that if the server crashes again, they won't all be lost like last time.
I've got one
Name: Star Craft 3
Genre: FPS
After 2 great strategy Starcraft games, an FPS comes out! You could be a Marine sent to battle the evil overmind, or a Ghost trying to send a Nuclear strike against the Protoss. You could be a Hydrolisk fending off enemy attacks, or a Terran Goliath left for dead behind enemy lines.
You can buy weapons, train, earn rank advancments, and all that good junk. A great way to mix space games, down-to-earth FPSs and a great strategy game.
Street Wars
The gaming system turns on. You navigate your way through the menus and start a new game. You customize your character's name and appearance. when you are done, you hit start. It goes into a quick cinema scene, showing a subway car stopping at a subway station in the early morning. A few people get off, including the character you just created. Here's where the fun starts.
What you want to be is totally up to you. You are in a city simply known as 'The City', and all you have is $100 and a cheap knife. You have no skill with weapons, but plan to get better. You can do whatever you want from the start of the game-Be a rogue crook, working for nobody but yourself. You can join the police and help enforce the law. You can join the mafia. You can be a mercenary. You can be a soldier. The possibilities are endless.
You aren't enexperienced forever. As the game wears on and you do more jobs, get more kills, you will gain experience. With experience you can choose to improve on a variety of skills including simple things such as pistol effectiveness, rifle effectiveness, and stealth. You can also choose to improve on more interesting things, including stunts, martial arts, and extras. By stunts I mean Matrix-style stunts, among other things. You probably know what I mean by martial arts, and by extras I mean stuff like a better auto-aim.
Of course, with great power comes great responsibility. Or, as things would be in this game, with great power comes better jobs and better money. If you choose to be something like a police officer or soldier, you will simply get a promotion, but if you are something like a mercenary, you will get harder jobs as the game goes on. The general goal of the game is basically to take over 'The City' if you choose to be bad, or to become the ultimate good guy if you choose to be good. However, you can always switch sides at any time during the game.
Multiplayer is going to be online and massively multiplayer, so to play online will require a fee. Online play will simply be the same thing, only your police colleagues or fellow crooks would be real people.
It would be on GC, PS2, X-Box, and PC. The player will be able to choose from First of Third Person perspectives. PC will have standard (yet customizable) setup for controls. The consoles will all have fairly basic controls-Left Joystick moves/sidesteps, Right Joystick looks around. Triggers/Shoulder buttons use items in hands. Z button/L2/R2/Black Button reload, A/X button jumps, X/Y/B/Circle/Triangle/Square/Whatever buttons X-Box has right there will do stunts/Kung Fu/etc.
Rat Race (Nothing to do with the film)
You buy different types of rodents (rat, squirrel, mouse, gopher. . .) and use them in races to win more money to buy more rodents to win more races to win more money to buy more rodents. . . until you can eventually set up a company where you professionally race rodents.
I just thought that up in 3 seconds.
