GCN Game & Watch

I got this idea from that stick figure Zelda game Jay was joking about.

Why don't they make a Game & Watch game for the GameCube!

Not like the old ones, of course, more like a platformer or adventure game.
In it, you would guide Mr. G&W through whatever quest Ninty decides to make for him.

They could keep him and the worlds 2-D and make a vast, vast game with the space saved off graphics-
OR
They could keep him 2-D, but make the WORLDS 3-D, which would then allow abilities like turning sideways to hide from stuff!

So what do you think?

That'd be neat, but I think it'd be cooler if there was a game with every single G&W game on it, plus some similar new games that can be unlocked.
