| Guest Posts: n/a | I had an game idea the other day. Here it is. The backstory to the game, is that a warrior goes on one of these quests to defeat a evil overlord, and it's one of these things where if he doesn't do it, no one can. Well, he dies while fighting the overlord. But the stars have pitty on him, and let his ghost return to reality, with the power to travel through time at will, and help himself defeat the evil overlord. The catch? You as the ghost(which is what I will refer to the dead form of the protagonist as) can't directly affect yourself(which is what I will refer to the living form of the protagonist of you from now on). You can, say, accidentally let a pile of rock fall on enemies, or cause a tree to fall, forcing yourself to take a better route. Also as yourself picks up items and the such, you as the ghost will gain these items, since you are your ghost. So the game would be filled with a lot of stuff like I explained (ie: droping rocks and trees) but more complicated, obviously. And by changing the path yourself takes, it may cause yourself to die in and unexpected place, and then you, the ghost has to figure out what to change in order to prevent that death. So in short: You play as the ghost of a dead warrior, traveling through time, trying to change history so that you, the warrior finish your quest, but you can't directly effect your living form. Interesting, no? |

| Guest Posts: n/a | That's interesting. What genre would it be in? ![]() "Subrosiani vincent omnia!" (Subrosians shall conquer all!) The Legend of Zelda: A Lasting Legacy |

| Guest Posts: n/a | Hmm, genre, I don't quite know. I guessing it would play alot like Zelda, but would be based on a lot of situational puzzles. I think a lot of the game would be figuring exactly how to change the Hero's course so that he will complete his quest. |
