I went into my local games shop, to look for release dates and stuff.
When I got to GTA:SA, I just said "GTA?"
"Which one?" replied the clerk.
0_o "Why how many are beening released this year.
"GTA:SA and GTA4" smiling back.

So has anyone heard of this GTA4???

I would have thought Vice City would have been Grand Theft Auto 4.

Vice City uses the same graphics engine as GTA3.
GTA:SA also uses this same engine.
GTA4, I would have thought, that the games designer and people will put a better engine in it.

That's weird. Because Vice City and San Andreads didn't have numbers in their title, they don't count as the fourth or fifth grand theft auto, or what?

^ Correct.

if you look at the first GTA game, there was three citys were:-
Liberty city,
Vice city,
and San Andreas

GTA3s city was Liberty, then Vice came out, now SA. All using GTA 3 graphics engine, therefore condeming them to spin off/add ons to the GTA3.

I wonder if GTA4 city will be GTA2 first city.

^ According to my release dates list
GTA:SA :- 22nd OCT 2004
GTA4 :- NOV 2004

Well that's what the clerk told me, and she's pretty so I trust her.

The way I see it, GTA3, GTA:VC, and GTA:SA are all expansions on the same theme that, together, form GTA3. It's just a more in-depth look at each city based on the GTA1 template. So, in a sense, GTA3, GTA:VC, and GTA:SA are all part of GTA3.

I think I'd rather trust a clerk because she's a clerk.
