| Guest Posts: n/a | You shouldn't buy the game behind your parents' backs. They will either give you TV, video game, or computer restriction. I tried doing something that they told me not to, and I got restricted from ALL THREE for a week. I had NOTHING to do that week. [ February 18, 2003, 05:13 PM: Message edited by: WillTheExtraGuy ] |

| Guest Posts: n/a | ^ Yea, going behind your parents back seems like a good idea till they find it out. But my parents are so oblivious to it they probably wouldn't recognize the game. I would just tell them that it was Metal Gear Solid or something and they'd believe me. Then I'd just be lying more and I would get into more trouble later but thats besides the point... |

My dad didn't want me to get the PS2 yet, but I ended up getting it behind his back. I'd play it whenever he was at work and when he got back home I quickly hid it. I don't really understand why he didn't want me to get it, but when he found out I had it a few months later he didn't seem to remember telling me not to buy it. At least he didn't make a big deal out of it. My brother bought Vice City when he was 17, on the weekend after it came out. He had to go through 6 stores or so, cause in some of them it was sold out and in others the clerk didn't think he was 18. Well, at least he's 18 now. AND THOSE DAMN COPS CAN'T PROVE HE DID IT!!!! Vote for me at the GTA Forum Mod Election ----------------------------------------------------------------- Quote of the week: "Do you know what it means to come home at night to a woman who'll give you a little love, a little affection, a little tenderness? It means you're in the wrong house, that's what it means." - George Burns. Image of the week: ![]() Pointless fact of the week: Wall Street got its name in 1654 when residents of New York built a wooden wall to protect against attack by Indians. For those of you who have cool parents who aren't too concerned about what you do, I envy you. [ May 21, 2003, 02:43 PM: Message edited by: Velocity ate it. ] | |
