If Vinny thought that this topic was not suitable for this forum he would have closed it by now, but he didn't. He has posted in it. We need to make this forum popular or else its going to close. Now, I will ask you again, please do not post in this topic unless you have any productive ideas.

can u guys tell me how to make posters and stuff in a short kinda paragraph cause i would like to help and i always wanted to make a poster and stuff on a computer [img]smile.gif[/img]

It's not really that hard. Get pictures that you want to be in the poster, get a bacround picture, then drage the pictures together and put writing. If you have any other questions ask.

That's a nice way to make crappy banners. I recommend getting photoshop and learning how to use layers, blending, etc...

No I did not crack under pressure. I was mod here in one place or another for well over a year and I got tired of it. Vinny has done a reasonable job so far, but I think he's got quite a bit to learn. For instance, you don't link to an MP3 in the header and anticipate that people are going to download it. Find a midi and put the propor script up, and maybe that'd be a little more effective. Banners are nice if they look good, but this one obviously doesn't. That's the first thing people see when they come here, and gives the impression that this place is a bag of **** -- which it is not (err.. was not, atleast).

And I'm quite aware that I'm not the moderator, so there's no need to tell me. However, I have been behind this place since it was a mere idea in the suggestion forum, and I don't like to see it in this pathetic state. And uh... you're not a mod either buddy, so get off your high horse. It's almost laughable how you've been acting since I stepped down. You LOST the elction. Vinny is the mod. Your status has not changed AT ALL. Stop acting like you have power.

I agree. I used a program like photoshop called photosuite. I have never used this program before and am currently working on new banners though personally I like the Post Buttons/ Smaller Banner, see page 1.

If people's impressions of forums are by the first picture that they see then they have much to learn about posting. Posting usually includes words and reading, not pictures.
