So, I've never played GH before.

I want to get in it, but all I have are Nintendo systems. III is coming out soon, and I think that is also coming out on Wii, correct? Though, it is $90.

How much would it cost to rent it from Blockbuster or something? I'd like to try it out before I go for buying the game myself. It sounds rather fun.

I have no idea how much it is to rent; I guess you could just call them up and ask.

Better yet, goad one of your friends into buying it, if they haven't already.

Don't think. Just get it. It'll be the best $90 you ever spent.

Heh, Blockbuster better be renting out the guitars too, which might end up being rather pricey.

You can play without the guitars. I have been, mostly because I'm not keen to lay down that much extra money for a peripheral.

Playing without the guitar just seems like missing the point of the game, though; it's like buying a car and towing it instead of driving it to work. =\

I never understood it anyway. I wouldn't want to play Controller Hero.

if you are starting out on guitar hero from the get go...get the 1st one and work your way up. 3 is difficult, and yes i may have beaten it all and unlocked the El Jefe, but thats just me....good luck...
