Do I need to buy the guitar hero bundle?

Hey, I have guitar hero I and II, and the guitar hero II guitar controller. Can I just buy the game, or do I need to buy the game package that comes with the new guitar and all that stuff? I'm using a PS2.

Yes, you can get it separately.

You don't need to buy the new guitar; all the PS2 guitars are intercompatible with the PS2 games.

Heck, you can play other games with the Guitar Hero controller on the same platform. Halo, for instance.

^Heh. That kind of thing always half-impresses, half-frightens me. Like that video of the guy beating 'Soul Calibur' on the hardest difficulty with the DC's fishing rod controller.

I've seen somebody playing Devil May Cry 3 with the Guitar Hero controller. Not well, though, but still.
