Angry Guitar Hero III on PC problems

i just got GH3 on PC for christmas and i installed it properly, but when I play, the song comes earlier than the game so its impossible to keep up with the song. any way to adjust this?

I assume the PC version is the same as the console version. Go to options, video options, calibrate lag. That should take care of it.
