Kratos is just dull. :\ From what I heard, there are 3 endings. |

1) Yes, it uses the Wiimote features, mostly to navigate the world map and you can move the Wiimote as a shortcut, and oyu have FAR more shortcuts than you do in other games. (Eternia and Legendia only give you two shortcuts, Abyss gives you four, and Dawn of the New World gives you eight.) The 3 endings are as followed. No matter what you do, you can get the Bad ending in which Emil accidentally kills Marta and then revives her with his own life. Marta then writes that she committed suicide to be with Emil. The normal ending is bad choices in the game and the good ending is making good choices. Supposedly, the Good and Normal endings are virtually identical sans a scene at the end, that's the Good ending. Supposedly, in this game it's not as easy to do the aerial combos as Vesperia and Destiny remake is. (If you don't know what I'm talking about in Vesperia, look up some combo videos of Judith or Repede.) I have seen a video in which Emil does an aerial combo and one-shots an opponent. ...by the way, I actually think Richter looks more like Luke Fon Fabre and Asch to me. Quote:

Also, if you look closely, Marta has a little Mieu on her backpack-purse thing. :] Oh, and about the wiimote thing, you point the wiimote to the screen to use the Sorcerer's Ring, like using a bow in TP. More fun stuff I found (spoilering just in case someone wants to find these on their own): The statue that shoots the arrow in the underground ruins thing is Celsius. You meet Yuan when first entering Asgard. He actually looks like an adult in this game. xDD The previously-stated Natalia wall-mural I also thought it was really cool that all the dogs have the names that are given to them by Colette if you actually bother in the first game. (Yes, I bothered. And the title you get isn't even that good.) |

I don't know why everybody hates his voice so much, I thought he handled emotions and stuff really well. Also, does anybody know if you ever get to actually CONTROL the characters from the original ToS game, or do they just join your party? |

And I don't know if you can, but I think like any other Tales of game you can probably manually switch them so that you can control the other characters. Does anyone know if Dawn of the New World has multiplayer at all? |

You can't actually run around as them, like in cities and such, but you can manually switch to control them in battles. Fun stuff. :] |

I assume it has something to do with the ending, but I can't find anything saying what they do. |

I mean I just fought Zagi for the third time, level 30 and he already has 60,000 HP? daaaang...At least he was pretty easy though, since I managed to actually shave off about 20k of that when I managed to Fatal-strike after stunlocking him with Rita. Not to mention several other bosses have sort of hurt a little. ^^; |

I worked so hard to. I even worked with regal. But by the 10th I had all of it beat on mania. I do power level. I'm normally 7-10 my the time I get to martel temple. I had over 1000 hours on my one file and thats 3 playthroughs after I figured out how to continue from the previous game and deleted them. I had 100% skit completion and had max rank in colliseum for all excluding Raine. I even beat the demon land of Niflhiem on mania with only using like 20 life bottles, (Was leveling up genis, kratos, presea, and regal so no ressurection.) But I didn't have all the titles I still needed the pirate Lloyd one and the Dinner Party regal. But Oh, well. I'll just do it over again. And out of curiosity what is the speacial tos1 thing in Dawn of the New World? I picked it up and am stuck on a boss battle. My monsters were to weak. I still wish you could go online and battle your monsters against an opponents. I also enjoyed that the skits had voiceover and think that they slaughtered Lloyds and Raines Voice. Lloyd is just not fitting as the other one did. Raine is to girly. And so far I have one complaint. Give me back a world map and make the quests harder. (I know that was two) I played part of Abyss and hated it. I played most of Legendia and got stuck. I really want to find and play Phantasia again. Played a little. I still am a symphonia fan through and through and wish that they would get a character on smash bros. |

ANYWAY. So I beat Symphonia 2. And... Well, I was kind of overwhelmed by unexpectedness and awesome at the ending I chose (yeah, uh... never ever ever EVER choose the crazy, super special ending in a game on your first try. 0_o) It was just... wow. WOW. Overall thoughts: -Seeing old ToS characters was winwinwinwin -Music remixes are worthy-Game was pretty short, but I think half of that comes from the lack of grinding and exploring on the field map, which I actually don't miss too incredibly much. -Visiting old ToS places was win but it would've been nice to see a few more new places -Final dungeon DESIGN was cool as hell but seriously, needed to be a helluva lot bigger/more fun to explore/etc. -voiceover skits were hilarious -No costumes..? (Maybe there are some and I just totally missed them) -Monsters were cute and awesome and stuff, but leveling them back up each time after evolution was kind of annoying, even with the manuscripts and stuff Oh and btw I figured out that bosses are ever slightly easier to kill if you control Emil and not Marta. We totally owned Alice and Decus after that. :] So, all in all, I thought it was an AWESOME sequel to the first game. Ending battle was really really REALLY climactic. And no ZOMG HALFELVES ARE DESCRIMINATED AGAINST BOO HOO, so you can have no complaints, ML. ![]() Also, I did a little mini sidequest that really required no work but was really cool and really cute. :] It solely involves Lloyd and the original ToS characters. For those who want to know how to do it: After entering the Otherworldly Gate, go to Iselia until you see a scene. Then go to Flanoir and see the scene there. Easy as hell to do, not really a sidequest, but really awesome in my opinion. ![]() |

You get 10,000 Gald and I believe a bunch of Apple and Orange Gels at the start of the game. Don't quote me on the Gels, but the Gald I'm sure. |
