The Coliseum event in ToS [where you have to fight it solo] is ridiculous on Mania Mode. Me versus two overpowered knights, both with twice my range, and a magician? I felt like a badass when I finally beat that. 8{D |

You just have to reject Colette and someone else will come, and if you reject enough people Kratos says wassup. Quote:
Listen up cuz **** is about to go down. Firstly, you'll notice that next to each character in the pause menu is a little set of arrows pointing to either T or S. T means technical, and S means strike... basically, whichever direction your character goes will determine what attacks they learn [they learn totally different stuff depending on which you choose]. Basically, T-type characters learn slightly less powerful attacks/magic that affect a broad range of targets. For example, T-type raine [your main healer] eventually gets a spell that heals EVERYONE in your part a good amount, and T-type Genis [your main mage] learns strong spells that attack a lot of enemies at once. S-type characters learn more powerful and more concentrated attacks/magic. S-type raine [the healer] eventually learns a spell that completely restores all of the HP of a character, but it only affects one person. S-type Genis learns more powerful attacks but they hit much fewer targets. To change between S and T types, after you sit through a long and mandatory Z-skit between lloyd and kratos, he'll say something about EX skills. You can go through that tutorial by playing the game, but all EX skills are either Strike or Technical, so obviously the more S-type EX skills you put on a character, the more S-type that character will become and they will learn S-type skills. Try to determine the S and T types of a character early on because believe me, it takes forever to switch them later on. ----- OK, now one more biiiiig thing. EVERY SINGLE DIALOGUE CHOICE IN THE GAME AFFECTS HOW PEOPLE THINK OF YOU. Now this game has multiple "endings" that change depending on which character you choose at a special event [more on that later]. Only the 3 characters who like you the most [and Kratos, no matter what] will be available for this. It's on the second disk in Flanoir when they go get the doctor... trust me, you'll know. Anyway, throughout the game you want to have a good idea of whose ending you want to do and then get an idea of their personality so you can get them to like you. Generally this is how it goes: Colette-- be nice. Also, NO hitting on any other girls. Genis-- be nice AND SMART. Also, don't hit on his sister. For shizzle. Don't. Sheena-- be nice, and try to make some intelligent decisions. Hit on her. She actually likes it. Raine-- be intelligent. Sometimes you'll have to be nice, sometimes you'll have to be cruel, just do whatever she approves of or whatever is smart. Kratos-- See Raine. Also no matter what you can always get his ending by rejecting the other 3 people, so don't worry. Presea-- you see her way later in the game, so basically with the time remaining just be nice to her and a jerk to everyone else and you should be fine. I got hers first try my first playthrough, so it's not that hard if you decide you want to do her ending immediately. Regal-- be intelligent but kind. Kind of like Genis, except he doesn't care if you hit on Raine. :{P Zelos-- THE BIGGIE. There is one point WAAAYYY late in the game where he asks you something about Kratos. Answer with the option that is "There is a possibility." This is a HUUUUGE boost to him. Aside from that, just be somewhat intelligent but also goofy. Also, just overall: if you don't have a good idea of who you go for, you'll probably end up with Colette, Sheena, Genis, so if you want other people start working for it. Also, when you walk around on the overworld you'll see these blue glowing rings. You walk into them and they trigger skits with Lloyd and one other character. If you answer in favor of that character, it will make them like you more, so look for these! That's all I got for now. Ask me ANYTHING. Seriously. I know this game way too well. [oh btw, protips on how to tell who likes you the best: --go to the fortune teller in Triet. She'll give you friendship fortunes regarding how well people like you, and if you say I DUNNO she describes the person who likes you most. --eventually, a skit will appear that says "Combo! Lloyd and [insert person here]" and that means that person likes you the best --Lloyd goes into overlimit when his soulmate dies.] Best of luck! And if you decide early you don't want colette's ending, work on shaking her off NOW. Oh and btw, when I say 'hit on', I mean 'be nice to.' For example, if you start showing kindness to other ladies, Colette gets displeased, and if you are overly warming up to Raine, Genis starts hating you. However, with Sheena, there are dialogue options where you can actually hit on her and she likes it. | |

Kratos's ending is similar to Colette's in a lot of ways, except in Colette's Kratos DOESN'T come back and you have a few more lovey dovey scenes with Colette. And there will ALWAYS be 3 people plus Kratos at Flanoir. There's no possible way that you can have no choice. Even if everyone hates you, the 3 people who hate you the least will show up, plus kratos, and you can choose from them. apparently you're doing it wrong. |

They're too lazy to re-animate an entire ending. The things that change with endings are as follows: --Who talks to you the night before the big fight in Heimdall [if Kratos's ending, you get no such talk] --Who gets kidnapped after that [if Kratos's ending, Colette gets kidnapped] --Obviously, who you choose to talk to in Flanoir [when you choose the ending] --Who you see at the very end as the camera fades out to join Lloyd on his GRAND ADVENTURE --The trials people face in Welgaia [if you don't do Colette's ending, she takes the place of whoever's ending you are doing, and if you do Kratos's ending he takes Zelos's place] --if you do Kratos's ending, he re-joins your party toward the end, whereas if you don't he won't It's not a huge difference, but there are things about each character that you don't know unless you do their ending [or look it up on GameFAQs if you are lame] |

I think the last time I checked online though, I either couldn't find any or couldn't find any that were affordable.. I think I only searched for ToS and ToA tho. |

They're all really fun, but Abyss is ridiculously extremely emo, and Vesperia is seriously lacking in the character development area. |

Yuri was a badass though. Abyss was a good and solid game, just too much emo clone angst for my tastes. -shrug- |
