Rock Band is much better on drums than World Tour. The RB drum set is much simpler, as you don't have to worry about cymbals.

^See, that's exactly what I don't like about the Rock Band drumset, the lack of raised cymbals.

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

I take it back. My friends got world tour, and the drums on World Tour are much better.

There are some that are sold separately.

Somebody at school tried to convince me that RB had the better set because it had more pads. Even though you can put three cymbals on RB drums, they just replace the other drums. I prefer the WT drums because I like the cymbals, and the fact that they're necessary and there are five drums is more of a challenge to master them, and I like challenges.

I've always preferred GH guitar, and I haven't played WT on vox enough to judge.

Also, most important part, soundtrack: GH wins. Hands down.

really? i didnt much care for the songlist for WT. But the guitar is still better, not as sticky of a strummer thingy. But the WT one still cramps up much wrist really bad really fast. But the drums are better, and they're my thing, so WT wins.

I like it how the hammer-ons and pull-offs are easier to hit in GH, but the note charts are more accurate in RB and I personally like the song selection of both the game and the DLC for RB better.

It's hard to compare them. Rock Band's more of a party game, while Guitar Hero is more (for me at least) about getting high scores and stuff. (Although I know a lot of people don't see GH like that.)

Um, if you think GH has such a focus on highscores and stuff compared to Rock Band, you probably haven't seen the mode in GH5 that lets any combination of instruments play at any difficulty without failing at any time that's made specifically for parties.
