Guitar Hero On Tour: Decades

Just bought it yesterday.

Boy, is it much improved than the last version. This time I don't feel that the song list was neutered to get the E10+ rating (i.e. there have been no Maroon 5 songs).

The song list is a similar format to the last same, where there are exclusive songs mixed with songs that also appear in Guitar Hero: World Tour.

I also like (since the theme of the game is the evolution of rock throughout the decades), the trivia items they add for each song.

I plan on picking this up later. The song list looks a lot better than the first one. Too bad the graphics are the same, with the singer being the bassist as well to have only three people displayed.

Who watches the animations while they're playing anyway? Those are for all the other people in the room watching you play.

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

IF GH = No Life, then RB2 also = No Life.

In my opinion both series are the same (now) at it's just a matter of preference.

That said, there is no Rock Band for DS is there (though I did see many clones popping up)

Play Guitar Hero, then try playing Rock Band. You will notice it to be quite harder. The main problem with the GH franchise is that they have been spitting out so many titles in this past year that they are milking the franchise dry.

That is somewhat true. I prefer Rock Band, but I will play Guitar Hero when I get the chance.

No, the series has pretty much always followed the sequel/spin-off formula since Guitar Hero II.

However, no one seems to remember 2007's spin-off "Rocks the 80s" (probably since it's only available on PS2), as such it seems like a new thing.

^^Ironically, I don't play, but I remember that one, largely because of the solo in "Because It's Midnite."
